" Daichi! " Sugawara called out.

Daichi turned behind and saw Sugawara walking towards him. Daichi was sitting down at his table, looking out the window.

" Oh hey Suga." Daichi said, waving at Sugawara.

Sugawara sat at the seat in front of Daichi and smiled at him.

" Are we going to have a practice match with Ryu High today? " Sugawara asked.

Daichi rubbed his chin, " I don't think so. We never scheduled any practice matches today."

" So.. You and Akane." Suga smirked.

Daichi's face started to turn pink. He faced away from Sugawara and sunk into his chair. Sugawara laughed at him and continued to tease him.

" Why don't you just tell her that you like her? I'm sure she likes you too. And plus you guys look great together. " Sugawara commented.

Daichi remained silent but many thoughts were going through his head. Sugawara got up.

" Think about it." Sugawara grinned before leaving Daichi with his thoughts.

Class started and Daichi kept thinking about what Sugawara said. Soon enough the day ended and it was time for club activities. Daichi got up from his seat and packed his bag. He looked around and saw Sugawara walking towards him.

" Let's go, captain." He said, slapping Daichi's back.

Daichi just chuckled and the both of them started walking towards the club room to change. On the way there, they saw Tanaka walking with his hands in his pocket. Tanaka saw them and waved profusely while running towards them. The three of them decided to walk together. The opened the door to the club room and saw the first year's and the rest of the 2nd years changing. They all greeted Tanaka, Daichi and Sugawara. Daichi went to his locker and opened it. Suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned behind and saw Hinata standing behind him.

" Daichi-San, by any chance, will Akane-senpai come to watch our volleyball practice today?" He asked, smiling happily.

Daichi's face turned slightly red, " S-she has her own volleyball practice to go to. Why do you ask?" He stuttered.

" I want her to teach me how to do that powerful spike! " He beamed with joy.

" Hinata, it's just a normal spike. Dumbass." Kageyama chimed in.

Hinata and Kageyama continued to argue, Daichi shook his head and changed out of his uniform.

" WILL THE TWO OF YOU KEEP IT DOWN? " Daichi yelled out.

Kageyama and Hinata froze. Everyone laughed loudly. After they were all done changing, they headed down to the gym and started to set up the nets for practice. The door opened and Kiyoko walked inside.

" KIYOKO-SAN! " Tanaka runs up to hug Kiyoko.

Kiyoko dodges him and Tanaka falls flat on his face. Everyone greets Kiyoko and they started practiced. Sounds of volleyballs hitting the ground filled up the room. Everyone was focused.

- After Practice -

" Alright everyone, good work today! Keep it up. Let's quickly clean up and head home. " Daichi yelled.

Everyone nodded and started to take down the nets and picked up all the ball. Kiyoko went and gave everyone their water bottles. After they were done, they gathered and greeted one another before heading out. Daichi's phone vibrated. He looked at it and it was a text from Akane.

Akane-chan: Daichi, im done with practice. I'll meet you at Sakanoshita Market. See you theree

Daichi smiled and replied, " Ok, see you there. :) "
