Part 36

" Ladies! Wake up, we're here." Coach yelled out.

Everyone woke up and rubbed their eyes. They took their things and got down from the bus. Akane thanked the driver before following everyone back into the gym. Everyone sat down and waited for the coach to brief them. After a while, they finally went home.

"Akane, isn't Daichi picking you up?" Luna asked.

Akane's eyebrow raised slightly, "He still has camp. He's coming back Monday."

Luna's eyes widened, "So you're telling me I won't see Nishinoya until then?"

Akane nodded and chuckled. She shook her hand goodbye to Luna before walking home. Akane was quite tired, she held her heavy bag and walked slowly. Her eyes occasionally closed but she tried to keep them open. Suddenly she heard someone approaching behind her. She stood there and dropped her bag, panicking. Akane turned behind and her eyes widened to see someone with blue hair and pink streaks looking at her with his head tilted.

"Natsu??"

"Hello Akane."

"Why were you behind me?"

"Well I saw you and thought you looked familiar, I called out to you many times but you didn't response." He answered.

Akane rubbed her eyes and let out a yawn. Natsu chuckled and picked up the bag she dropped. Natsu walked to the front of her signalling that he will send her home. Akane watched as he walked in front of her, she crossed her arms and followed behind him. The whole trip to her house was silent, not a single peep was heard. The wind started to whistle, Akane could feel the cold air against her bare legs. She brushed it off. Natsu suddenly stopped, he turned around with an embarrassed smile.

"Sorry Akane, I didn't ask you.. Where do you live?" He asked, embarrassed.

Akane chuckle and led the way. Soon after, they finally reached to Akane's doorstep. Natsu waved goodbye and walked off. Akane unzipped her bag and took out her keys. She unlocked it and went in, locking her door behind her. Akane walked towards her room and set her stuff down, plopping on the bed. She yawned and as she was about to close her eyes, she got a text.

𝒅𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒖: Hey sis :)

Akane: Huh? Akiteru? Why are you texting me? Did you do something bad again.?

𝒅𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒖: why do you always assuming the worse? Don't you miss your big bro :)

Akane: nope. :))

𝒅𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒖: that's mean you know :( I just heard from mom that you just came back from Tokyo today, how was the camp?

Akane: it's okay, just tiring. I want to rest soon, anything important?

𝒅𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒖: not really, just wanted to give you a text saying your big brother misses you :)

Akane: that's your fault for training overseas dumbass.

𝒅𝒖𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒖: ouch that hurts, anyways have a good rest, love ya sis :)

Akane: love you too aki <3

" That's weird, he never texts me. Normally he's too busy but whatever, I just wanna take a sleep." She said to herself as her eyes slowly closed.

A few days passed and Karasuno is finally coming back. Akane was really excited, Daichi said that he's arriving to her house soon. He went home and see his mom before coming to see Akane. The door bell rang and Akane jumped, running to the door happily. She opened the door and saw Daichi standing there with his hands wide open. Akane jumped onto him, hugging him as she wrapped her legs around his torso.

" Daichi!"

Daichi chuckled and hugged her back, resting his head on the crook of her neck. A gush of wind suddenly blew in their direction, Akane's hair flew as they hugged.

"Honey, I've missed you so much. Hope you missed me too. " He whispered into her neck.

Akane nodded and hugged him tighter before pulling away. Daichi held onto her waist, he sees tears welling up in her eyes. He cupped her face with his hands and wiped her tears with his thumb. She chuckled. Daichi tilted his face before gently placing his lips on hers. Her eyes widened, smiling, shekissed him back which led to their kiss deepening every second. Daichi picked her up and went into her house, closing the door behind him as he continued to kiss her. He pulled away and brought her to the room. Placing her on the bed, he sat beside her, laying down on her lap as he looked up into her eyes.

"How's your camp, Darling?" She asked, playing with his hair.

He smiled and started telling her all about it. She listened carefully, laughing and shaking her head at all the times Hinata accidentally got hit by the ball. Akane then told him about her camp. He chuckled after Akane told him about Wanaka. After a while, Daichi got up and looked at Akane in her eyes and started giving her a cheesy compliment.

"Did you get prettier during the camp?" He said, staring into her eyes.

Akane's eyebrow was raised slightly, she chuckled and pushed his face away gently. She shook her head and walked out the room. Daichi laughed and followed her out. She went into the kitchen and took out some apple, she cut it and placed the rest on a plate. They sat down at the couch and watched the tv. Akane ate the apple and fed Daichi some as well. Daichi laid his head on Akane's shoulder as theh watched TV for the rest of the night. Daichi's eyes closed, falling asleep in the embrace of his girlfriend. Akane laughed, placing his head on her lap and caressing his hair with her long and spender fingers. She continued to watch the TV when she had the sudden urge to go to the bathroom, she sighed and slowly lifted his head and ran to the bathroom. After she was done, she made her way to the couch where she saw that daichi was awoken and sitting down, looking at her, sadly.

"Why did you leave me.?" Daichi asked with his grouchy and tired voice.

"Sorry Darling, I needed to use the washroom." Answering him, her heart melting because of his hot and raspy voice.

Daichi pulled her and held her tightly, making sure she didn't fall off the sofa. Akane's face heated up as she smiled, she snickered and cuddled him back. He unconsciously snuggled up into her chest. She played with his hair as he slowly fell back asleep.
