Akane walked out of school and saw Daichi standing there, he was in his volleyball outfit because he had volleyball practice later. Akane gave a small smile and walked up to him. She stopped in front of him and gave him a small wave. He grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in for a hug. Everyone started to stare and smile at them. Akane's eyes widened in shock.

" I'm really sorry Akane..." He whispered in her ear as he stroked up and down her back.

Akane hugged him back, " No, I'm sorry. I should've stayed and talked with you instead of walking away."

Daichi pulled away from the hug, holding Akane's hands.

" Want to watch my practice? We can talk on the way there." Daichi asked, giving her a small and soft smile that made her heart flutter.

Akane nodded and tighten her grip around his hand. They walked as Akane told Daichi that Fuji just made up that story and what he did to her at school. Daichi became furious at Fuji and himself. He was angry that Fuji was doing such things to Akane but he was also angry that he even thought about that lies being true. Daichi apologised again but Akane had already forgiven him. After their long talk, Daichi told her that his mom asked her to stay over for the night. Akane nodded excitedly as they finally reached the gym.

" I'm really sorry that I didn't believe you.." Daichi apologised for a millionth time.

" Don't worry, you were in a dilemma. I can't blame you for that." Akane said, wrapping her arms around him.

He smiled and kissed her cheek when suddenly the gym door opened.

" There you are Daichi-oh I see, so that's what you were doing. Don't worry, you can carry on" Sugawara smirked.

Daichi and Akane's face became extremely red and they were denying every of Sugawara's assumptions to what they were doing. They went in the gym and Akane was introduced to Yachi, their new manager.

" H-hi! I'm Hitoka Yachi! "

" Nice to meet you Yachi, I'm Hayate Akane."

" Wow, she's really pretty! " She whispered to herself.

Daichi appeared behind Akane and whispered in her ear, " I'm going to practice now. Watch me okay, Honey? "

Akane's face was tinted with red and she nodded at Daichi. Yachi's eyes sparkled as she watched Daichi and Akane's interaction. Kiyoko noticed and let out a short chuckled.

" Yes, they're dating Hitoka-chan. " Kiyoko whispered.

Yachi got all excited and started to get jumpy. Akane, Kiyoko and Yachi talked for a while, trying to get to know each other. When Yachi learned that Akane was Ryu High Girls' volleyball team captain, she started asking a ton of questions, making Akane flustered in embarrassment (in a good way) . They watched as the boys practiced. Akane watched Hinata and Kageyama's demon quick attacks, she was always impressed that Hinata was able to spike the ball with his eyes closed. Anyone who is going up against them would get shocked. Coach Ukai told everyone to go on break. Kiyoko and Yachi went to give them their water bottles. Akane walked towards Daichi and handed him a towel.

" Thanks Honey."

" You're welcome." She smiled.

Suddenly, Akane heard Hinata calling her as he ran in her direction. He was holding a volleyball with a big smile on his face.

" Akane-senpai! Could you practice with me? " Hinata asked, excitedly.

Akane looked at Daichi and chuckled. She patted Hinata's head and nodded. Hinata's eyes lit up as he passed the ball to her. They ran to the court and Akane started setting the ball to Hinata. Hinata found that Akane's set was easy to spike. The ball was always being able to reach Hinata's palm making it easy to spike.

" Akane-senpai, you're set is always so easy to spike! " Hianta praised.

" Karin's set is more precise and accurate." Akane said, smiling.

She tossed up the ball and spiked it to the other side of the net. Hinata thought that the ball was going to hit directly in the middle but the ball landed on the right side instead. When Akane was midway in the air, she shifted her body before spiking the ball. Everyone who was watching started cheering for her, even Coach Ukai.

" No matter how many time you do that spike on us, it always impress Senpai! " Tanaka said.

Akane thanked him. Everyone went back to practice, Akane sat at the side and watched their mini game. She let out a short yawn when Coach Ukai walked up to her.

" Akane." Coach Ukai called out to her.

" Hm? What is it coach Ukai? " Akane asked, standing up.

" Thank you for coming to watch today's practice, yesterday Daichi was abit off but now he's really focus with you around." Coach Ukai thanked Akane.

Akane let out a short chuckle and rubbed the back of neck. A while passed and their practice finally ended. Everyone went to take a break before cleaning up the gym.

" Good practice everyone. " She said.

Everyone smiled and thanked her, suddenly Daichi appeared behind Akane, giving her the biggest smile. Akane turned behind to face him, sweat was dripping over his muscular arms and his face. Akane chuckled and took his towel and gently wiped the sweat off his forehead.

" Akane-senpai and Daichi-San are really adorable together right, Kiyoko-senpai? " Yachi asked.

Kiyoko smiled and nodded. Soon after helping Daichi wipe off his sweat, Akane helped everyone to clean up the gym.

" Akane-senpai! "

" Hm? What is it Noya? "

" The next time you come, are you going to bring along Luna-senpai? And Karin-senpai of course. " Nishinoya asked.

Akane smirked at him and patted his back, nodding at him. A huge smile appeared on his face as he excitedly walk away. Akane shook her head, laughing. Everyone greeted one another and left the gym. Daichi and Akane stayed behind for little while because Akane wanted to play volleyball. Even though Daichi was against staying, he agreed because he knew that Akane haven't been able to play for a while. Akane took a ball and started tossing it. Daichi was at the side, resting. He watched as Akane practice tossing to herself. Daichi chuckled and took off his jacket. He walked towards Akane, who was standing in the middle of the gym and wrapped his jacket around her waist. Akane jumped and her eyes widen. Akane felt his warm breath against her neck, sending chills down her spine. Her face became pink. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him. He buried his face in the crook of her neck.

" Let me hold you for a while." He whispered.

Akane sighed and patted his head. She was playing around with the volleyball when suddenly the door opened.

" I FORGOT MY- " Hinata screamed but was cut off by the sight of Akane and Daichi.

Daichi looked up and so did Akane. They made eye contact with Hinata as his face turned pink. He crab walk to his water bottle and crab walk out the gym, stopping in front of the door.

" My mouth is zipped." He bowed down before closing the door.

Daichi shook his head and laughed. Akane blinked, trying to process what just happened. Daichi let go of Akane and took the ball she was holding.

" 1 on 1? " He winked.

" Sure, but don't you get sad when you lose, Darling." She smirked.

They played against each other for about an hour or two.
