The bell rang and everyone went back to their seats. Akane sat down and was able to completely ignore Fuji's presence. She tried her best to focus in class and was able to do it successfully. Everytime she tried to stretch, she'd made accidental eye contact with Fuji but she pretended nobody was there. Class continued on and Akane was surprisingly not bothered at all. Fuji started to get irritated. He did everything he could to get Akane's attention, but she didn't give him the attention he wanted. That day, Akane had lunch on her own and she just sat at class with her headphones on. She was listening to a playlist that Daichi and her made last week. Suddenly Fuji came up to her and took off her headphones. This time he didn't have a smirk on his face.
" What? "
" You do remember what I told you right!? "
" Of course I did." Akane stood up and stared at him in her eyes.
" But I don't care. Do what you want Hiroshi but don't forget that you're still the same person you were a few years ago." Akane smirked, snatching back her headphones before walking out the classroom.
He gritted his teeth in frustration, " That boyfriend of hers. He's in the way. I'll find some way to get him to break up with her and she'll come running back to me. "
He smirked, suddenly he got an idea. There was a girl in class who seemed to like to talk to Akane alot. He walked up to her and pulled the chair from the table in front and sat down.
" Fuji-kun! " She said, startled. A tint of pink appearing on her face.
" I don't know what your name, but can I call you sweetie? " He smirked.
She nodded profusely, " I'm Mary, but you can call me sweetie if you'd like! " mesmerised by his beautiful eyes and smile.
" Can you do me a favour.. Sweetie." He winked.
" Anything for you! " She blurted out.
" Could you distract Akane after school? "
" O-oh.. Why? "
" I'm her best friend and I want to surprise her for being so special to me." He smiled.
" You're so sweet Fuji-kun! Of course I'll help you! " She smiled.
He got up," Thanks sweetie." He said, walking back to his seat.
He had expected that Daichi would come and pick Akane up later after school. He sat down at his seat and waited. The bell rang and everyone walked back into class. Akane pulled her chair and caught a glimpse of Fuji smirking. She rolled her eyes and sat down at her seat, waiting for the teacher. After a few hours, school was finally over. The bell rang and everyone greeted the teacher. They all packed their bag and slowly made their way out of class. Fuji got up and walked pass Akane without saying anything. He walked passed Mary's table and signaled her to go distract Akane. She nodded and walked towards her. Fuji walked down to the entrance of the school. He waited near the gate. After a few minutes, he saw Daichi walking. He was wearing his volleyball outfit. Fuji smirked before walking up towards him.
" Hey! "
" Uh hi? Can I help you? "
" You're Akane's boyfriend right? "
" Yea.. Sawamura Daichi. Why? "
" I'm Hiroshi Fuji. I just wanted to talk to you."
" You're Hiroshi.. Fuji?? So you're the guy who touched my girlfriend! " He snarled.
Fujii's eyes widened, " Before anything I just wanted to tell you the truth! I didn't touch her at all! "
" So you're telling me that Akane lied to me?! "
" Well.. I know that I didn't touch her so yes she is lieing! Everything she told you about me is a lie! "
" So you're saying, you didn't cheat on her and broke her heart!? "
Fuji bowed," No! I would never! In fact she was the one who cheated on me.. I caught her making out with another guy. "
Daichi started to shake. He knew that he shouldn't believe a guy he just met bout Fuji kept on telling him over and over that Akane was the one who cheated on Fuji and not the other way around. Fuji kept the lie going, telling Daichi that Akane used Fuji and other guys as her pawn and that she is just acting to be nice. Daichi tried to stand up for Akane but Fuji kept on adding more lies.
".. Once a cheater, always a cheater." Fuji said.
Daichi was too shocked with all the information that he couldn't speak.
" You should break up with her before you get cheated on too.." Fuji ended the discussion there, walking away from Daichi.
Daichi was caught up in his own thoughts to realise Fuji was walking away. Daichi's head started to fill up with questions. His heart beated quickly. He shook his head, walking away, not wanting to wait for Akane anymore. Daichi knew Fuji was lying but Daichi was in a dilemma. He didn't know who to believe anymore. He was in disbelief.

He started to question everything, even his relationship with Akane. He knew that he didn't want to doubt Akane but he couldn't stop thinking about what Fuji told him. Tears started welling up in his eyes. He clenched his fist in frustration as he made his way back to karasuno. He heard his phone vibrate but he didn't bother to check who texted him. He was too caught up thinking about things he knew isn't true but the question, " What if he was telling the truth? " kept lingering in his head. He spent the rest of the day thinking about it. Even during practice he couldn't focus at all. Sugawara and the rest of team was worried about him but they tried to not ask too much. During the break, Daichi would just stare into space.

Asahi wanted to ask Daichi be he was okay but Sugawara stopped him, shaking his head. Asahi sighed. Suddenly Tanaka appeared behind Daichi.
"Hey Daichi, what's up?"
Daichi jumped and gave a forced smile to Tanaka, shaking his head. Telling him that everything was okay. Tanaka hesitated before nodding his head and walking away. Soon enough, practice ended. Everyone packed up and greeted one another. Daichi walked out and went home.
" Daichi! There you are. I texted you but you didn't answer." Akane said, appearing in front of him.
Daichi looked up at her and looked away. Akane tilted her head in confusion.
" What's wrong, darling? " She asked, worried.
" Nothing. Just tired. I'm going home, goodnight. " He said, walking away from her.
Akane watched as he walked away. She became extremely worried but didn't run after him. She thought that maybe he'd want some space. Akane sighed and walked home.
