Part 39

Akiteru saw Akane and Daichi sitting down and watching the TV. He decided to sit down beside Akane and watch with them. They sat down for a while and watched TV together. After a while, Akane fell asleep on the couch, Akiteru chuckled, he patted her head and got up, going to his room. He opened the door and saw  Shouko doing push-ups. Akiteru frowned, looking at Shouko.

"Don't you ever take a break?" Akiteru asked.

Shouko looked up, in a plank position and shook his head. Shouko was in a plain tank top that revealed his muscular and veiny arms that had sweat rolling down to his wrist. He was breathing heavily, he had his messy, fluffy hair covering his face slightly as he got up from the plank position. He took his towel and patted himself dry as he spoke to Akiteru. Akiteru sighed and rolled his eyes before jumping onto the bed.

"You're sleeping on the floor, or the couch." Akiteru smiled, burying his face into the pillow.

"I'll sleep on the floor or something." Shouko agreed, walking out as he threw his towel over his shoulder.

Shouko wasn't the type to argue much, he'd either do it or solve it his own way without much talking. He went out with his clothes to go take a shower when he saw Akane and Daichi sitting down on the couch. Akane's head was leaning against Daichi's broad chest, sleeping peacefully as Daichi stroked her hair and watched the TV. Daichi looked over and smiled at him. Shouko paused for a second and gave a forced smile before walking away. Akane started to wake up due to Daichi’s sudden movement, she opened her eyes and sat up straight, looking at Daichi. Daichi looked her in the eyes and let out a slight chuckle.

"Feeling tired honey?" He asked.

Akane nodded her head and rubbed her eyes before resting her head against his shoulder once more. He smiled.

"C'mon, let's head to bed." He suggested, slipping his left hands under her legs and placing his right hands on her back. Picking her up from the couch and carrying her into the room. Akane held onto his neck, cuddling into his chest.

Daichi kissed her forehead before making his way into the room with her in his arms. He opened the door with his leg before gently placing her down on the bed.

"Ahem. What's going on here?" Akiteru asked, leaning against the door frame, staring at Akane and Daichi. 

"Oh hello Akiteru, I'm just tucking Akane in for bed. What are YOU doing?" Daichi smirked.

"Nothing, just wanna say goodnight to do the two of you. Anyways, have a goodnight AND DONT DO ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS." He exclaimed walking back into his room.

Akane smacked her forehead as her eyes were halfway closed. "Ignore Akiteru, he's just teasing you."

Daichi laughed, shaking his head nervously before he walked towards the door, closing it. He jumped on the bed beside Akane, pulling the sheets over both of them. He looked over to see Akane staring at him, with a cheeky smile.

"Akane? Why are u smiling at me like that?" Daichi asked, concerned.

"hm.. Do i need a reason to stare at my boyfriend?" She asked, not answering his question.

"Well, i don't mind but you're staring at me with that little cheeky smile of yours." He said, using his thumb wiping her bottom lip.

She chuckled and faced the other way. Daichi pouted, he got up and moved closer towards Akane. He tapped on her shoulder, wanting Akane to explain her cheeky smile but Akane didn't pay him any attention. Giving up, Daichi pulled her arm and pulled her towards him gently. She snickered, leaving Daichi in more of a curiosity.

"Jeez, love you're making me confuse over here." He pouted, staring into her eyes.

She lifted her head slightly, kissing him on the lips before laying back down and pretending to sleep. Daichi could feel his blood rushing to his face, as he covered his flustered face with his other hand.

"Oh c'mon love, don't do that to me" Daichi said, pouting in hopes of getting answers from Akane.

Akane chuckled and opened her eyes to look at him. She reassured him it was nothing, she just enjoyed his presence. Daichi smiled, kissing the top of her head. He got comfortable in bed and place his hand on her waist, pulling her in closer. Akane then fell asleep, peacefully and soundly. Enjoying the comforting silence.
