Part 5

It was morning, Akane felt someone carry her, bridal style. She was than placed on the bed. She opened her eyes a little to see a man walk out of her room, closing the door. She was too tired so she fell asleep again.

- after a while -

Akane started to roll around in her bed. She woke up and sat down on her bed. She rubbed her eyes and yawned. She adjusted her shirt and walked out her room door. She walked out and stopped when she saw Daichi in her kitchen. Her face became red. He was busy putting pancakes on the plate and drizzling syrup on it. He looked up and saw Akane standing there.

" Morning, sleepyhead. You knocked out on your couch yesterday, so I carried you to your bed. Sorry I just went in, you didn't answer your door and I got worried ." He said.

She rubbed her eyes again to make sure she was seeing the right thing. Daichi laughed and walked towards her. He handed her a towel and told her to go shower.

" Your bed hair looks cute and all but go shower. I already made breakfast. " He smiled.

Akane nodded and went to shower. She was still confused but went anyway. She quickly showered. She dried herself and took out a pair of sweatpants and a shirt. She blow-dried her hair and hung her towel. She walked out of her room and saw Daichi sitting at the table waiting for her. She quickly walked over and sat beside him. He put his head on his hand and looked over at Akane.

“ Thank you for making breakfast. “ She thanked him, smiling at him.

He nodded and told her to eat up. She nodded and started cutting the pancake into smaller ones. Her face lit up. She thought that the food was really scrumptious. She realised that Daichi had one less pancake. She had 3 and he had 2. She got confuse, then she realised that there probably wasn’t enough ingredients to make enough pancakes, so he gave her the extra one. She looked at her pancake and cut it into half and put it on his plate. He looked over at her.

" It's not fair that you have 2 and i have 3. Now we both have 2 and half." She smiled.

He chuckled and they continued to eat breakfast. Soon after they're done, Akane stood up and took both her and Daichi's plate.

" I can wash it, Akane." Daichi said, standing up.

" You already made breakfast. Now it's my turn to do something. " She answered.

He smiled at her and watched her wash the plates. She placed them on the rack after washing. She wipes her hand in the towel and walks over to Daichi.

" How long are you going to be here? And why are you here? I-im not saying you cant! But you know what I mean-"

" I just wanted to hang out with you, that's all." He interrupted her.

She nodded and pulled him over to the couch. She took the remote and turn on the TV, she sat Daichi down and sat beside him.

" Let's watch an anime. " She smiled.

He nodded and they started to watch the anime. They binged watch the entire anime and soon enough it was afternoon. Akane looked over at Daichi and realised he had fallen asleep. She gave a soft smile and slowly lifted his head and placed a pillow there. She went into the kitchen and decided to cook. She noticed that she had nothing to cook. She sighed. Akane went to her cupboard and opened it to see 2 packets of ramen.

" Yes! I have ramen, hopefully he doesn't mind eating it for lunch. I need to go get ingredients to cook for dinner later." She thought to herself.

She took the packets of ramen and poured hot water and close the lid. She looked over and saw that Daichi was still sleeping. She thought that he must have been really tired. A few minutes passed, Akane went over to Daichi who was sleeping at the couch. She sat on the floor and faced him. She admired as he slept. He looked really peaceful. She was sad that she had to wake him up. She slowly tap his arm to try to wake him up. He started to move around but he didn't wake up.

" Daichi, wake up. Let's have lunch together. You can continue sleeping later, okay?" She whispered in his ear softly as she continued to tap his arm.

" He's not waking up." Akane whined quietly.

" Daichi, wakey wakey. The ramen is going to be soggy, you know. " She whispered again.

He was still not waking up. She sighed. She went into the kitchen and took the ramen and walked into the living room and placed it on the table. She sat down on the couch and pulled Daichi, making him sit up right. His eyes was barely opened. She took the ramen and blowed the noodle and moved it closer to Daichi's mouth, wanting to feed him.

" Daichi, open your mouth." She said.

Daichi heard what she said but he was too tired. He slightly opened his mouth. Akane looked at him and laugh before feeding him a small portion of the ramen. He chewed slowly. He opened his mouth and Akane fed him until the ramen finished. The entire time he was eating his eyes was closed. Akane shook her head and took her ramen to eat.

" Oh man..my ramen is soggy now. Its fine, as long as Daichi was able to eat his, I'm okay with soggy ramen." She thought as she looked at Daichi slowly falling back asleep.

She took a bite of her ramen, when suddenly she felt something heavy on her shoulder. Daichi's head was on her shoulder. Akane's face heated up and she blushed. Her heart was racing. She sighed and patted his head before continuing to eat her ramen. After she was done, she placed the bowl on the table trying not to wake up Daichi. She rested her head on his as he was soundly asleep. Akane slowly stroked his head as she continued watching her anime.
