"This may come as a shock to you but, I'm terrified." Taylor confessed to Jonathan as he sat in her passenger's seat. Immediately after he asked her if she were pregnant, she told him to get in the car. And he did. She had zero plans of telling him about the pregnancy- not just yet, but she would be honest if asked.

They could not have this conversation in the parking garage of her company. They needed to be comfortable enough, and Parkwood was the last place that provided that. Most importantly, they needed privacy.

Taylor didn't know where she wanted to go until she saw the practically empty shopping center twenty minutes away from Parkwood. The ride was completely silence, no music played from the radio- no loud wind blowing. Jonathan didn't care how far they went, or where they went, he knew that she would tell him when they reached the destination. If she needed time to think and gather her feelings, he would give it to her without a complaint.

"I'm definitely shocked." Jonathan chuckled lightly. "What are you terrified of?"

"A lot of things." She finally looked at him. "I'm terrified of finding out the truth."

"And what truth is that?"

"If I'm actually pregnant."

"What- why is knowing if you're pregnant or not terrifying?"

"Because then I have to deal with it." Softly, she answered as sadness filled her eyes as it did her voice. Jonathan's heart caved hearing her voice.

"You can't be scared forever." He sympathized. "And if you are, your body won't allow you to be."

"I'll start showing and feeling." She added. Every woman and every pregnancy is different. She didn't know when her belly would grow or when her hormones would kick in, but they would at some point. She wouldn't be able to hide it from her family and friends for very long. She wouldn't be able to hide he feelings either.

"Exactly. You have to find out so you can do the necessary things to have a healthy pregnancy and baby." Jonathan referred to the prenatal vitamins she needed to take. Not only that, but eating habits and exercising.

"I took three tests yesterday." She replied. "Two were positive."

"So, you have to see your doctor." Jonathan had a strong feeling that she was pregnant with his child. He didn't wear a condom and he only pulled out of her once when he came. But it couldn't hurt to be one hundred percent sure.

"No." She said.

"Why not?" He asked.

"I just took the tests yesterday. It's still settling in my brain."

"When are you going?"

"I don't know. I haven't even called my doctor yet." She sighed, already feeling a bit drained.

"Don't you think you should do that as soon as possible?"

Taylor frowned. "Why are you practically badgering me?"

"I'm sorry, but I would like to know if my life is going to change."

"Even if I am pregnant, your life won't change." She said for a matter of fact.

"How will it not? I'll go from a father of two to a father of three with my boss. That's a definite change."

"You won't be a father of three, at least not with me." She shrugged a bit. Jonathan looked into her eyes, trying to figure what she really meant by what not with me.

"Would the baby be-" He started to ask.

"Definitely yours," She cut him off. "but-"

"You would terminate it?" Jonathan asked. If Taylor decided that she couldn't or just didn't want to go through with the pregnancy, he wouldn't be upset in the least bit. It's not his decision to make, simply because it's not his body and it's not his life. He wouldn't convince to keep their child and he wouldn't convince her to abort their child. He would support her decision, no matter what she chose.
