Taylor absolutely loved her job, but she also loved to being in the comfort of her own home. She loved lounging around in her pajamas. She loved her bed and she loved to sleep. Nothing was more satisfying than turning off her alarms on Friday night. She could sleep until noon if she wanted to. The latest she slept was ten-thirty. It wasn't awfully late but it sure as hell beat six o'clock. Taylor planned to roll out of bed and head directly to the kitchen to make breakfast. After she ate would have a shower and just relax on her beach.

But fortunately, yet unfortunately, Mother Nature had plans of her own. Taylor could still do what she set out to, but in a different order. Her cycle has finally come after being two weeks late. Late but present. It was bittersweet moment for Taylor. She wanted to be a mother but not like this. Her relationship with Jonathan particularly nonexistent at this point. They were hardly friends- they weren't ready to have a child together for that fact alone. Just to be one hundred percent, she took one of the pregnancy tests from the last scare.

Not pregnant She read once she stepped out of the shower. She sadly shrugged her shoulders and went on to do what she had originally planned to. After episode three of season one of Chicago PD, she decided to call Jonathan to tell him what she finally knew. He answered after the fourth ring.

"Hello?" Jonathan greeted happily.

"Congratulations," Dryly, she replied. "we don't have to have that conversation."

"What are you talking about?" Confused, he asked.

"I'm not pregnant."

"Oh." Jonathan said sadly with a soft sigh to follow. Despite the nature of their relationship, he wanted Taylor to be pregnant. It wasn't just because she wanted to have a baby. He actually wanted her to have his baby. He wanted to be her man! He wanted to be her best friend, her man, her provider, her protector- her everything. He wanted her more than anything in this world, but he knew that he messed up, badly. And it didn't help that Taylor was stubborn! It was hard enough getting her to open up. Without a doubt, he knew that getting her to forgive him would be even harder, but he wasn't giving up.

"Did you actually take a test? Or did your cycle come on?" Jonathan curiously asked.

"Both. I know it's rare to get your period and still be pregnant, but I took a test just to be sure."

"I'm sorry."

"You have nothing to apologize about." Simply, she told him. And she meant it. Jonathan did what he was supposed to do to get her pregnant. It was up to her body to do the rest.

"I know how much you want to have a baby." He replied.

"Just because I want something or someone, doesn't mean it will happen. I think you know that you've proven that to be true. And you shouldn't apologize for not getting me pregnant. We're not in a relationship- hell! We're hardly even friends now. It's just not meant to be." She shrugged her shoulders.

"Don't say that." Jonathan said, feeling bad about the whole situation.

"Say what?"

"That it's not meant to be. It is meant to be, it's just not the right time."

"Maybe it's not the right body." Taylor mumbled but Jonathan still heard her loud and clear.

"What do you mean?" He questioned.

"We've had a lot of unprotected sex, you've only pulled out once in all of those times. I could still get pregnant from pre-cum. Maybe something is wrong with my body and that's why I haven't gotten pregnant."
