"Carter, don't." Taylor told him sternly then chuckled. She already knew that he loved her. He didn't have to say it for her to know. Without a doubt, his actions proved his love for her. She was upset that he decided to tell her. She was upset because she loved him just as much as he loved her, if not more! She loved him deeply, but she was afraid that he would hurt her again. She only wanted to have sex with him. She figured that she couldn't get hurt that way.

Their relationship was far beyond just simple relations. They were too affectionate to only be friends with benefits. Calling each other sweet pet names when caught up in certain moments, cuddling, having keys to one another's house. Jonathan and Taylor spent every waking moment together. If they weren't at work, they were together at one another's house. Outside of their homes, they were together. Dates during the day, and dates when the sky was dark blue. They were practically in a relationship, there just wasn't a title for them.

"Don't what?" Confused, he asked.

"Don't tell me that you love me! Don't do that."

"Why not?"

"Because that would a be complication." Jonathan rolled his eyes and just let it go. He's heard her say that many times before. Trying to convince her otherwise would be a waste of his breath and their time. He just got of the car and walked over to the passenger's side to help her get out. He wrapped his arm around her waist and supported her as they walked to her front door.

"Are you going to tell me truth?" Jonathan asked as he opened the door.

"Take my heels off." Taylor said as a bit of agitation filled her voice, stepping inside her home. She was nonchalant, but she was still agitated. Jonathan asked her the same questions over and over, every single chance he got. It was annoying because those were things that a boyfriend or a husband would do. It was especially annoying now being that he had pulled her out of the club while she was having a great time. Now she just wanted to lie down and go to sleep.

"Seriously?" Blankly, Jonathan she looked at her. She was so nonchalant and he couldn't believe it.

"Yes." Taylor groaned softly. "My feet hurt." Jonathan sighed before kneeling down to unbuckle her heels. He slipped them off of her feet, instantly making her feel better. He made sure that both the car door and front door were locked before walking her to her bedroom.

Taylor wasted no time rushing to her bed. But Jonathan stopped her before she could actually plop down. She needed to be in comfortable clothes. Clothes that she didn't spend thousands of dollars on. She was going to vomit at some point, and she didn't need to vomit on her designer dress. As soon as she was in an oversized t-shirt, she laid down on her stomach. It had only been a few minutes but it felt like an hour before Jonathan rolled her onto her back. Like any other time, he was going to remove her make-up. He was prepared for her to give him a hard time, but she didn't. She remained still and allowed him to remove the make-up.

"You keep telling me how we're not together. Why did you feel need to lie to me?" Jonathan asked when he peeled her eyelashes off.

"I didn't lie." She answered with a roll of her eyes, making herself a tad bit nauseous.

"You told me that you were going to the comedy show, but you were at the club." Jonathan frowned, trying to figured why she was still lying to him.

"We did go to the show, but like I told you, we got kicked out because this drunk bitch bumped into me going to the restroom. She wanted to fight because she bumped into me." Taylor said honestly. She had zero reason to lie. Jonathan was not her man, and she always made that verbally clear to him. She didn't need to lie to him about her whereabouts because he didn't have the right to check her about anything. And even if they were in a relationship, nothing would stop Taylor from doing what she wanted. She wouldn't disrespect their relationship, but if she wanted to go a certain place, she definitely would.
