Chapter 19

Jonathan looked at Calvin with furrowed eyebrows, trying to figure out if he caught on to what his words actually meant. To Jonathan, it seemed like Calvin was waiting for him to finish telling the story. He just hinted at this man's fiancée sucking his dick, with the slyest smirk on his lips, and he didn't even get it? The smirk should have been a dead give away, but here Calvin was, calm as ever with a straight face. Jonathan didn't get it.

"She has a way with her words." He added, remembering her exact words.

You know when you catch me zoned out, I day dream about your lips on me. Your lips on my lips, both of them. Most of the time, it's the set between my hips.

He looked at Calvin- thinking of the entire moment in her hotel room, he almost wanted to laugh, but he held it in.

"How do you mean?" Calvin asked curiously.

"She managed to make more than intended on this trip." Jonathan said, referring to the deals she made and what transpired between him and Taylor. He knew that Calvin wouldn't pick up on that, which was what he wanted.

"That mouth of hers is really slick." He smirked again. "I was watching her do what she does in amazement. She's an inspiration." Jonathan spoke in a somewhat taunting tone, with the same smirk on his lips. He knew for sure that Calvin would realize that what he was talking about had absolutely nothing to do with work. He expected Calvin to violently attack him, and he would have been okay with that. He deserved that much. But instead, Calvin smiled briefly- making Shawn furrow his brows and smile a confused smile.

"Yeah, but you're used to that right?" He chuckled. "I mean, considering that she hasn't fired you."

"I'm the best assistant she's ever had, literally. She would be insane to fire me." He said hoping he would catch on.

"Yeah, I told her before you all left that she should keep you around. She comes home less stressed than she used to before she hired you."

"Really? I appreciate y-" Jonathan was going to let Calvin know that he appreciated him but he was distracted by his daughters' giggles. He turned to see Joy on Taylor's left hip and Serenity holding her right hand as they carefully walked down the steps. She hadn't noticed Calvin standing with Jonathan, yet.

"She's really great with kids, super duper amazing." Jonathan commented with a bright smile. He loved to watch Taylor interact with his daughters. She smiled the brightest smile. It seemed like she was her happiest when talking to and playing with them. It was wishful thinking, but if they ever became a couple, it'd be perfect because she's already bonded with and created a relationship with them. Just thought of that happening made Jonathan happy. After having sex with Taylor and releasing his semen inside of her, he thought of her actually being pregnant. It wasn't the most ideal situation, but he wouldn't be upset about it.

"Ms. Tay, who is that talking to my Daddy?" Serenity asked. Taylor looked up to see her fiancé standing next to the man she's fucked for the last couple of days. The beat of her heart instantly increased as she watched Calvin look between her and Jonathan while Jonathan couldn't wipe the smile off of his lips. She had no idea what he smiling about- she had no idea that Calvin would be even here. It was weird to her that Jonathan was grinning and Calvin was the complete opposite. It should have been the other way around. Calvin should smiling hard, being so happy to see her. And Jonathan should wear the blank expression because he has to deal with the realities of their relationship. The relationship that ended before it could even blossom.

Her mind raced trying to figure out if Jonathan did the unthinkable and told her fiancé about the intimate moments they shared. That would explain the look on Calvin's face and the smirk on Jonathan's lips. But he wouldn't do that! Not after he said that he had the most respect for her and her relationship. Not after agreeing to let it go!
