Usually- as of lately, Jonathan was awaken by the loud voices of his two daughters. Both Serenity and Joy would burst into their bedroom with a tremendous amount of energy and hunger. Only on the weekends of course. During the week, getting their children out of the bed and ready for school was like pulling teeth these days.

"Daddy!" Joy shouted as she pounced on the bed, forcing her father's eyes to open. He was awake but now he was up. "Where's my Mommy?"

Jonathan looked over to see that the left side of the bed was empty. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked towards their closet. The light was off so he automatically knew that she wasn't in their. He opened his mouth to call her name but quickly closed it when he heard the toilet flushing.

"She's in the bathroom." Jonathan yawned.

"Daddy, when is my baby going to be here?" Joy asked for what seemed like the billionth time. Every few days she was asking about her baby sister. It was safe to say that she was excited about the new edition to their family and about becoming a big sister. She wanted to be good at it, just like her big sister.

"November, babe." Jonathan answered tiredly. "Mommy's due date is November seventh."

"Why can't it be sooner?" Joy inquired. "Can we change it?"

Although Jonathan was tired, he couldn't help but laugh. "No, we can't. We want the baby to stay in Mommy's belly until she's ready to come."

"What's taking her so long?" Joy asked.

"He has a lot of growing to do, babygirl."

"Sooo." Joy paused for a moment to gather her thoughts. "She's just a little, little baby?"

"Very little. She's not ready. She's still cooking."

"Daddy." Joy rolled her eyes. "She's a baby- not a cake!" Joy demanded respect for her baby sister.

"I'm sorry." Jonathan laughed.

"How did she get in there anyways?"

"Aren't you hungry? Where's Ren?" Jonathan knee exactly where Serenity was. She was in the bed, sick with a cold- where she had been for the last three days. It was only a cold but neither Joy or Serenity has ever really been sick before. Taylor was completely against taking days off from work without planning for it. But, for her baby, she made the decision to stay home from to be with her without a second thought. The nausea she had also helped her decision easier.

Taylor couldn't send her child to her grandparents' house for the day. She knew that her baby just wanted to lay up under her all day. That's all that they did, even while Taylor did a little bit of work, Serenity was laying on her chest or sitting on her lap.

"Um, Sissy is in the bed." Joy answered. "And yes! I want pancakes!"

"Okay, come on." Jonathan said getting out of the bed. He reached for his daughter's hand and assisted her jump out of the bed. Before he headed into Serenity's bedroom, he put Joy in her bathtub. Serenity was just waking up when he entered her room.

"Where's Mommy?" Serenity whined in a groggy tone causing her father to laugh. He laughed because that seemed to be all that he's heard his daughters ask lately. He wasn't offended in the least bit. Actually, he loved it! He loved how well they took to Taylor since they began acknowledging her as their mother. It wasn't forced upon, it was one hundred percent Joy and Serenity's decision. Truth be told, even if Jonathan had been against it, they would still call Taylor "Mom". That's exactly what she was to them from the very beginning.

Of course, Denise gave birth to them and since she's turned her around, she's been consistent. But, it was no secret who they lean more towards. It was without a shadow of doubt, Taylor. Denise knew that. Jonathan knew that- everyone knew!
