Run! Run! Run as fast as you can!

The air was cold. The wind was mercilessly hitting the naked skin.

The forest floor was cold, wet, covered by sharp rocks and old decaying leaves. Every step caused a sound to come from the floor. It was dark, almost impossible to make out were the roots of the trees leaked out from the earth.

The soles of her feet were almost numb to the pain of the cuts, caused by the sharp ends of twigs and stones.

Out of breath from the running, shaking from the cold, she kept stumbling through the dark forest. She wore too little fabric to get even a bit of warmth.

Every single one of her muscles begged her to stop running, to just rest. But she couldn't do that, to afraid of the consequences it would take. If she kept running she might have a chance.

Or not? Was she supposed to believe that?

She shouldn't, couldn't stop running, or else...

Well who knew?

It was freezing outside. Small snowflakes fell down from the thick clouds above. It was the first snowfall for this winter. It was really early this year. By now the floor was covered by a thin layer of white powder snow.

But that did nothing to stop the madness, that was Izuku's mind right then and there.

Too fast did he bolt out the entrance, almost landing on the street.

Just now he realized how less of an actual plan he had in mind. He hadn't had much of a clue which direction Y/n could have gone.

Left? Right? Straight forward?

"Y/N!!" As loud as he could, he shouted her name, not caring in the slightest if he'd wake up someone.

God, he needed to calm down to make a plan. Where could she have run to? There were no footprints, meaning she probably left before it had started to snow.

Considering how much snow was falling and how thick the layer of snow was, it must have started to snow about an hour ago.

How far could she have come in an hour? Not too far. She was starved, had little muscle mass and didn't seem like much of a runner. Plus her leg was not yet completely healed yet, so it could be hard for her to run full speed.

Well, but the real question is, which direction? She wanted to leave the city according to what she had stated during their first encounter. Considering which way she was coming from, also that first day, it was more than likely that she would go west.

So left? It was the best bet Izuku had at the moment, so he took the risk of going the wrong way.

By the way, that all played in Izuku's head in just a mere seconds.

Having a concrete plan in mind he felt a bit more collected. It wasn't beneficial, for either of them, if he became reckless or missed a hint about her whereabouts, if he was panicking. Problem is, that's easier said than done, just telling yourself not to panic, works rarely.

It was dark, but the soft light of the streetlights eluminated his way. Not a single human soul was on the streets at this hour, only cars passed him.

Ten minutes he ran with OFA's help, until he came across a group of teens, roughly around the age of 17.

He halted. They all looked a bit tipsy, but not completely trashed. Still if he wouldn't have been busy searching for Y/n, he would have told them to better go home.
