"Ali wake uppp." Mya whines.

"Five more minutes." I murmur, trying to lift a pillow over my face.

"It's 2 in the afternoon. If you don't get up now, your 'mountain of work' will never get completed."

Holy shit it's 2 PM?

I jolt up remembering how many assignments I have to catch up on. I immediately regret it though, because my head pulsates with pain from the sudden rush.

"God M, why didn't you wake me sooner." I groan.

"Because you needed the rest. You've gotta admit that besides your pounding headache your body isn't as worn out as it was last week." She replies.

I gotta admit she's right, but I can't exactly ignore the construction site I have for a brain right now. I simply nod and trot out of the room, into the bathroom to finally start my day. I peel off my dress from the last night throwing it into the laundry bin and wrap my towel around me. I look in the mirror studying my makeup stained face and the bird nest on my head.

I begin to remove the little makeup I have left on my face including my smudged mascara and I instantly remember how much I cried after Greyson left last night.

I sigh and brush my teeth while I hop in the shower letting the steaming hot water run over my body in hopes of washing away the bad feeling I had. I wash my hair and wrap it in a towel after wrapping another around myself. I head back to my room to get dressed and I check my phone for any messages. I only have one.

Lil <33: Not sure if you're back from the game yet, but wanna watch a movie in my room when you do?

Damn it, I'll make it up to her though, I promise. As soon as I finish my mountain of freaking work.

"Hurry and get dressed, your brunch is downstairs getting cold, and here drink this," she says passing me the mug of green gloop. I know it's for my hangover and it's works like magic, but it's absolutely horrible.

"Okay mom. I'll be right down." I say sarcastically taking the mug and forcibly downing it's contents.

Mya always knows exactly what to give me in certain situations, like last night with the drink. I don't know how she does it, ought to be magic or something because almost immediately my headache begins to subside.

I quickly throw on an oversized t-shirt and sweats, letting my hair down to finish air dry. I head downstairs where I see Mya at the table in front of a half eaten waffle. I slide in the chair beside her, and begin eating mine in a comfortable silence.

"What-" Mya started.

"I don't wanna talk about it." I cut her off.

She just nods in understanding.
