Greyson
"WHAT THE FUCK MAN!" I shout to whoever it was that spilt punch all over my dress shirt.
I don't even understand why I'm so worked up. It was clearly an accident. However it's like all reasoning that I've ever had, simply disappeared. My hands are twitching with anger and my entire body in trembling with rage. Everything and everyone around me is moving in slow motion.
Water is falling from my face terrifyingly slow like tears, but I'm not crying. At least I don't think I am. It's sweat. I'm fully coated even down to my toes in cold slimy sweat. In my mind the music has stopped and the only sound audible is a far away ringing that's increasing by the millisecond. My entire life, even up to this very moment feels like an illusion.
"I'm so sorry," a voice yelped.
I'm pulled back into reality by the sound of Allison's voice. Immediately my anger subsides and I'm about to apologize to her when whispers I'm sure I shouldn't be able to hear begin echoing in my ear.
"Omg, look at her."
"What wouldn't she do for attention?"
"All over his shirt too..."
"I think she did it on purpose."
"I heard she's sleeping with half of the football team."
The distorted whispers of the people surrounding me only fueled the unreasonable anger that had just diminished. It was different this time however. Because my core is truly being ticked and it's not the medication I was forced to swallow earlier.
"Why aren't you covered up or something?" I asked harshly.
"Okay, rude...and random. Anyway, I'm really sorry about the punch, I really didn't see you."
"You're sorry? Look at you!!" I shout.
"What's wrong with how I look?"
"Everything, for fucks sake! Are those glasses of yours not working? You're wearing a strapless dress that's way above your knees. I mean look at your legs! Jesus christ Allison what the fuck were you thinking?" I laugh angrily.
"I said I was sorry geez," she rolled her eyes.
"Allison just stop for two seconds and realize that I don't give a rats ass about any of that. Your dress is two sizes TOO FUCKING SMALL. Your tits are freaking waving everyone hello. They move with every step you take and you're worried about spilling some fucking punch? Do you know what the fuck people are saying about you?"
Just as I'm about to turn to the crowd and tell them all to burn in hell Kevin and Jacob grab me and cover my mouth preventing me to say any more.
"Grey what the hell man?"
"What the fuck is going on with you? Why would you say that?" Kevin shouts at me.
"Let me go I'm not finished," I pant.
"Oh yes you are."
They both pull me away and I struggle against them. They don't understand the anger I feel hearing the words of our peers. I don't even understand the anger I feel. But I do know that I won't stand for them to just say anything. I run away from them panting and wet, taking off my jacket in the process. I run over to Allison and drape it over her shoulders.
"Cover up. For your sake and everyone else's," I spit.
Once again Jacob and Kevin grab me by the shoulders and drag me out of the gym. I want to cry out from the pain but I my voice is muffled by Kevin's large hands. They pull me until we're outside where they stop looking at me angrily.
"What?" I pant.
"What the fuck was that?" Jacob shouted.
"You're too loud," I shout back covering my ears.
"I never shouted..." he trailed off.
"What the fuck, Greyson are you high right now?"
"High? What the hell Kev? You guys have known me all my life..." I pant. "When have I...ever...done drugs?"
"Never! But you're acting weird as shit dude. What the hell's gotten into you?"
"You're breathing funny, and you're sweating bullets. It's fucking freezing out here."
"I...just need ...to use...the bathroom."
"No. I think it's time to leave," Kevin sighs. "Call your mom, and please don't take your eyes off of him. I'm gonna get our coats from the entrance."
"Roger," Jacob salutes.
"Haaaa."
"What's going with you? Honestly man, I'm concerned."
"Are you guys fucking deaf ?" I laughed. "I've been hallucinating all night, but now I'm certain."
"Grey"—
"Greyson, my man!" Cody, said throwing his arm over my shoulder. I wince at the pain.
"We just picked up a few hotties. We're about to leave. Wanna come?" Jamal asked with the rest of the football team behind him.
"We can get that glasses chick to come too. She looks like she knows how to have fun."
Bingo.
Before I even think about it, my fists were making direct contact with the noses and faces of the people around me. I don't even feel like I have full control over my body anymore, nor can I truly see straight, but I don't care. I've been angry all night and now I can finally release it.
"What the fuck man?" Someone yelled just before I knock them in the jaw.
A few of the boys land punches on my chest and arms, but they weren't able to get a good hit in. A few seconds later I'm being dragged away from the scuffle by a very angry Kevin.
"I left you one job!" he shouted at Jacob who was on the phone with his mother inside, completely oblivious to what's happening.
"They...were... talking..."
"Okay, okay calm down. You can tell me in the car," he said as darkness clouded my eyes. "Let's"—

*BANG! BANG! BANG!
"HOW LONG ARE YOU GONNA SLEEP IN THERE BOY?"
I open my heavy eyes, my body feeling light as a feather. I groan at the mild headache and the ringing of my phone. Confusion riddled my face because it was just dark outside a moment ago. The last thing I remember was Kevin telling me to be ready in twenty minutes for the stupid dance. Had I fallen asleep and not went?
By the time I picked up my phone it was already too late to answer. There were fifty two missed calls from both Kevin and Jacob and a shit ton of messages.
"What the fuck?" I whispered to myself getting out of bed to tend to my father who was sure to whip me to pieces.
"ARE YOU TRYING TO STARVE ME?" he screamed. "You've been in that god damned room for three days!!"
"Huh?"
