Kevin

Greyson, Jacob and I are supposed to head to the mall to get a few more things for the party tonight. I've spent the last two hours trying to decide on an outfit.

Normally I'd just throw on some baggy jeans and a sweater, but it's Saturday and you never really know who you're gonna see at the mall.

I mean what if I meet my soulmate?

Eventually I decide on a light blue baggy jeans and a white oversized hoodie. Yes, it took me two hours just to put on what I usually do. I decide to finish the look with a little shimmer using highlighter before heading downstairs to check my list.

The familiar sound of my footsteps echoing throughout the house is one I loathe. Imagine hating to walk around in your own home because it reminds you of how empty and lonely it really is.

That's why I love throwing ragers and getting wasted at them. Makes me forget sometimes you know? Speaking of which there is nowhere near enough solo cups here.  The homecoming party's gonna be a joke compared to this one so I have to triple on everything we already have.

After I checked the pantry, I made a list of everything I need before heading out to pick up Jacob and Greyson. I head for Jacob first, because he lives closer.

"Good morning sunshine." I smile as Jacob hops in the passenger seat.

He rolls his eyes, "Did we really have to wake up this early for party supplies? The party doesn't start until 10 PM."

"Well I want to get it out of the way, because before I start party prepping the house I have a little date with a certain someone." I smirk.

"Which is it this time? Hookup #352 or #364?" he ask sarcastically.

I dramatically gasp, clutching my chest, "How dare you accuse me of such treachery!?" I pull out of his driveway and head for Greyson's house.

"It's hookup #357."

I honk my horn two more times.

"You sure he said he'd be ready by 9?"

"Well... he never said it, but I told him to be ready by 9. So he should be."

Jacob face palms and sighs. "Clearly he's not, so we're just gonna have to go in there and drag him out,"

"Alright, but that's all you."

"Me? What did I do? You're the one who wanted to go shopping this early!" he whines before exiting the car.

"Fine I'll come with."

We barge inside with the spare keys he gave us and I waste no time heading for the kitchen. I look for some fruits to make a healthy smoothie to enjoy while Jacob tames the bull.

"Hey you said you'd come with."

"Yeah, inside not upstairs. I'm not dealing with that monster," I say putting berries in the blender as he trudges up the stairs.

Less that two minutes later I hear the door slam. I immediately press down on the blender to drown out what I know's coming next.

After my smoothie is finished I top it with mint and grab a metal straw to take a seat in the living room and wait. After a whole lot of yelling Greyson finally comes down fully dressed with bed hair. Jacob however looks like he was fighting for his life and barely made it out alive.

"Good morning sunshine," I smile.

"I hate you," Greyson and Jacob say in unison.

They love me.
