Greyson
It's been a while since I've heard from Allison, but I honestly don't know what to expect from this newfound relationship we have.
I do know that she's busy with dance practice. The whole school's been talking about the dance recital in December, so I know Chelsea has the team working extra hard. That's why I've texted her a message for good luck today. It was completely random but it just happened I guess.
I shouldn't be thinking about this right now because were out of mint and I need some to make gözleme tonight. I dread running low on herbs because it's never an in and out situation. For some odd reason they're stored in the back of the insanely huge store so I'm in there longer than I'd like to be.
I grab my keys in head there anyway because I'll be low on cilantro and parsley soon and they're vital to almost anything I make.
I grab a cart and head for the back. Why a cart when I'm only here for three things? Well in a grocery store I'm basically a girl and this is Target.
I always pick up more than I came for.
Finally heading to the last aisle to grab the mint and other herbs I spot Allison and some other guys who seems to be making her quite uncomfortable. The whole scene makes my blood boil. I don't know when decided to walk over to her but I do. My cart drops from my grasp and I'm sliding my arms around her waist and kissing the side of her hair.
She smells of vanilla.
"Hey baby, they ran out of matcha so we'll have to stop to another café on the way home." The words slide off of my tongue effortlessly.
"Who's this?" I ask turning toward the pervert in front of me.
"He- uh- he was helping me find the herbs...for the pasta we're having tonight."
I nod. "Oh, and you're still here?"
He puts his hands up in surrender, "Sorry man, just helping a lady out. No harm no foul."
It's guys like these I hate the most. They put on some gentlemanly facade that you don't even realize is a trap until it's too late. It makes the rest of us with actual good intentions look awful.
It only takes one.
I take a step closer staring right into his eyes so he's knows I mean every word. "There will be if you don't get fucking lost asshole."
He doesn't waste a second skipping out of the aisle and as soon as he does I reluctantly loose my arm that drapes her waist.
"You good?"
"Yeah- I-I'm fine. Thank y—"
"I keep telling you, you don't have to thank me Princess. It's good, I promise." She just nods in response.
"What are you doing back here anyway?"
"The relationship was a lie, but I told the truth. I needed herbs for dinner andddd, holy shit I'm late! I was supposed to be home half an hour ago. I'll see you tomorrow? Thank you!!" she rambles while running away.
"Come by for dinner sometime!" I find myself shouting before I even realize it and my eyes widen.
Shit now it sounds like I'm asking her out on a date.
"Tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow."
She's coming over for dinner tomorrow.
