Luke POV

Me and Zander were making our way home when suddenly he grabbed my arm and pulled me to a stop. "Hm? What's up?" I asked. "Isn't that the park we used to play at as kids?" he asked pointing off to the left. I looked, and sure enough it was. Everything had a bit of rain on it and even small bits of snow were showing. Zander ran over and stood on the end of the twisty, light green slide. "Remember how we'd jump off the end of this into rain puddles?" he asked. I nodded while smiling and walked over. Zander started to try and climb to the top. "Zandy, be careful..!" I yelled. Although he got to the top and looked down at me. I walked over to the swings, with now rusty chains, and sat down on one. Zander quickly slid down and ran over me

"Can you imagine if this place was now haunted or something?" he asked while pulling me back slightly. "That's crazy, Zan-" I stopped short as he pushed me forward causing me to fly up. He continued to push me then stopped me after five minutes and put his arms around me. "Remember how much we loved this place...?" he asked, and I nodded. "How can I forget....."

*Flashback to when both boys were 8*

"Luke, slow down...!"

Zander and Luke ran toward the steps that lead up to the twisty green slide. They ran up the steps and climbed up a small ladder. Luke got up first then held out his hand for Zander to grab. Zander took Luke's hand and he was pulled up. "You wanna sit in front?" Luke asked. "No way..!" Zander yelled. Luke giggled then sat down at the slide. Zander sat down behind him and put his arms around Luke's stomach. "Hold on tight!" Luke said before pulling them both on. The two of them slid down with Zander holding tight onto Luke, who was laughing the whole way. Once at the bottom, they both jumped off. "Race ya to the swings!" Zander smiled before running over. "Now you slow down!" Luke giggled before running after his friend

Zander got to the swings first and sat down. Luke grabbed the metal chains and pulled back slowly. "Make sure you don't let go!" he said. "I know!" Zander said sternly. "I know what I'm doing..."

Luke smiled, then they both looked up as Hailey ran over. "Hey Hailey!" Luke smiled as she sat on the swing next to Zander. Hailey slowly walked back while holding the swing then pushed herself forward. Luke did the same then pushed Zander forward. All three kids were having a lot of fun until Zander accidentally let go of the swing chains and flew off, hitting the ground hard. Instantly he began to cry, as Hailey jumped slowed herself down then got off and ran over. "Zander!!" Luke yelled as he also ran over. Hailey ran off to Zander their parents as the Luke tried to help Luke up. Thankfully the ground was sand so Zander wasn't insanely injured. Although he had several scratches, a bleeding nose, and he was shaking badly

Once Zander and Hailey's parents were over, the kid's dad picked up Zander while their mom searched in her purse for her car keys. "We need to get you to the hospital..." she said. Luke's mom walked over and took his hand, about to take him away from the situation. But he stopped her by saying "wait! I wanna stay with Zandy!"

Zander looked at Luke and stopped crying for a minute. "Can he come...?" he asked, looking at his parents. "I suppose so..." his mom said. Luke reached up and grabbed Zander's hand, which instantly made him smile

*End of flashback*

"I still remember how shocked your parents were that you didn't break anything" I said. Zander nodded and grabbed the chains of the swing. We both looked up and saw a few grey clouds forming. "God, I hope it doesn't rain..." Zander sighed as I got up. I held his hand and we began to walk off. The wind blew hard against the two of us and some autumn coloured leaves blew down. One landed on Zander's nose causing him to flinch slightly. I just smiled and took it off, then we continued to head to my place

Authors Note: So uh....this would've been done sooner but....at around 2:27 my power went out and didn't come back till right around now, which is 8:51. Super fun. I continued to write this when we lost all power and wifi, but I didn't think it would save. However it did save :D! Also, prepare for some more of Zander being uh....overly sensitive and clingy or some crap-
