Part Thirty Nine

Jo's POV.

It's been a month and it is time for the baby shower. John B and them have been here too. We're all sitting up.

"So am I allowed to be an uncle?"

I turn and look at JJ. I smile.

'Of course J.'
"Hey I'm sorry for everything I said."

I put my hand on his arm.

'It's okay. It happens. I got over it.'
"Best friends again?"
'Yes'

I smile and he smiles too. Kie and Pope come up to us.

"Hey girl and to my little niece."
'Hey.'

I see Pope put his arm around Kie.

'Since when are you two a thing?'

I point at them.

"Since a year ago."

Pope says smiling.

'Wow.'
"Never really kept up with any of us."

JJ says shrugging.

'I'm sorry guys, there's just some things that I've been going through. I don't really like to talk about it. And I push people away.'
"It's okay. I just hope you won't do it now."

Kie says.

'I'll try my best.'

I smile and go and sit down. Stiles comes beside me.

"Hey baby."
'Hey love.'
"Ready to open gifts for our baby?"
'Yeah I am.'

Everyone gathers around.

"Hey I love you."
'I love you more.'

I smile at him and he kisses me. We open gifts for the baby and play baby games. And make jokes and laugh. Then everyone leaves and goes home and it's just me, Stiles, Scott, Lydia, Theo, Jackson, & Allison. We're all cleaning up. I'm beside Stiles and he's acting strange.

'Baby are you okay?'
"Yeah I'm fine princess."
'Stiles you look really pale. Please tell me it's not what I think it is.'
"I said I'm fine okay?"

He slams down a rag and walks off. Scott comes up to me.

"What's his deal?"
'No idea.'

I shrug.

"You okay?"

He puts his hand on my back. I look at him and nod.

'Yeah.'
"Josie there is something you aren't telling me. What is it?"

He looks at me. I turn away.
