Part Twenty Seven

Jo's POV.

I just got back and I'm in Scott's bed. He's taking a shower so I'm just laying in his bed until he comes out. I hear the shower turn off and he walks out in a towel. I whistle.

'Damn I just got back and this is the best view to come back to.'

He smiles and laughs.

"I missed you baby."
'I missed you.'

He comes over and kisses me.

"So what all happened?"
'I made up with everyone'
"That's good. What else?"

He goes and grabs a pair of boxers.

'Enzo is gone. And he won't ever come back. But I feel like he'll haunt me in my dreams until I am no longer the anchor so if I wake you up with my screaming I'm sorry.'

He puts his boxes on and walks over to his bed.

"Stand up."

I stand up and he pulls me close.

"Do not be sorry about that okay. When you have one I will be right here for you."

We smile.

'I love you.'
"I love you more. You got here late. Let's go to bed baby."
'Okay can I borrow a shirt?'
"You don't need to ask, take whatever one you want."

I smile and go and grab a shirt. I take my shirt off and bra and put on his and take my pants and socks off and lay down in the bed on his chest.

'Scottie?'
"Yes princess."
'You're my safe place.'
"What do you mean?"
'I feel safe whenever you're around.'
"Aww I'm glad because I will always protect you. You're my girl, I'd die for you."

He kisses my head.

'And I'd die for you.'
"Yeah I wouldn't allow that."
'What why?'

I lean up and look at him.

"You deserve to live."
'And so do you.'
"You deserve to live more than me baby and plus you're a witch you could bring me back."
'If I could. Let's not talk about that though please no more deaths.'

I lay back down on his chest.

"Okay babygirl. Goodnight I love you."
'I love you too. Goodnight handsome.'

He holds me close and we both fall asleep. I turn over and open my eyes and I see Enzo.

"Surprise."

He grabs me and starts to choke me. I start to hit Scott but I feel nobody.

"Your precious boyfriend isn't here to save you now."

I feel shaking. And a faint voice.

"Josie baby wake up. Hey baby."
