Chapter 15 - A new couple

Chapter Fifteen:

At the Hall:
Just then, someone rang the doorbell.

Pallavi remarked, "Mummyji, I'll check."
She hurried over to see who it was.

Upon opening the door, she was taken aback, and her shock quickly turned to a scream, drawing the attention of everyone in the house. They rushed over, equally stunned by the unexpected visitors.

It was Sid, standing next to a girl, their hands intertwined, both in wedding attire.

Pallavi exclaimed, "Sid, you got married? And to whom?"
Sid replied sternly, "Yes, I got married to the person I love the most in my life!
Any more questions, Mrs. Kohli?"

Pallavi was left speechless. Vikram stepped forward, "Sid, how could you do this?
You married Rhea, didn't you?
You didn't even get a divorce first!"

Sid shot back, "Which Rhea? The one you all claim is my wife?
We got divorced, and here are the papers!"

He angrily tossed the divorce documents at Rhea, leaving her utterly shocked. "I married the person who truly loves me, unlike this woman who doesn't even know the meaning of love."

Rhea, outraged, grabbed his collar. "Siddharthttt!"
But he pushed her away, causing her to stumble into Chameli Naagin Pallavi's arms.

"Don't you dare touch me!" Sid warned. "You have no right to lay hands on me. Stay away!"
His newfound attitude shocked everyone, especially Rhea.

Vikram confronted him again, "You were the one who stayed with Prachi in the hotel room!"
Ranbir and Prachi exchanged worried glances.

"Now you betray everyone again by marrying this middle-class girl?
You have no rights to stay in this house; get out!" Vikram demanded.

Sid shrugged off Vikram's hand, pushing him back slightly, leaving the others in disbelief. "What did you say, Mr. Kohli? 'Your house'?
This house belongs to me, Ranbir, and Dida.
I decide who stays here."

Dida stepped forward, trying to diffuse the tension. "Sid puttar, it's okay. Soni, bring the aarti thal and kumkum thal."

"Ji, Dida," Soni replied and went to fetch the items.

Dida approached Sid's bride and lifted her veil. She happens to be Vividha!

Vividha Siddharth Kohli!

Dida exclaimed, "You look truly beautiful!"

Soni returned with the aarti and kumkum thal.
Dida performed the aarti, and Vividha followed tradition, kicking rice and stepping on the kumkum as she entered the house, leaving her footprint behind.

After receiving blessings from Dida, who beamed at the couple, Sid ignored Vikram, Pallavi, and Rhea.
He and Vividha walked straight to Ranbir and Prachi.

Ranbir started to apologize, but Sid stopped him and gave him a tight hug "I'm sorry, bro. Please forgive me."

"Don't worry. I understand," Sid replied, turning to Prachi. "Hi, Pravya!"
"Hi, Siddharth!" Prachi grinned, and they all shared a happy moment as Sid and Vividha entered the house.

Vikram muttered, "Oh my god, another girl has come now!"
Pallavi complained, "First this Prachi came, and now she's dead. We can't thank God enough for that, but now we have this new creature to tolerate!"

Prachi, smirking, interrupted, "Mr. and Mrs. Kohli, how can you be so sure that Prachi is dead?"
Both of them looked a bit spooked at her statement. "For your information, Prachi is very much alive and standing right here. Just wait; she might just come back very soon!"
Vikram, Pallavi, and Rhea paled at her words as she walked away, with a smirking Ranbir following her.

In Siddharth's Room:
When Siddharth and Vividha entered, they found Ranbir and Prachi already inside.

Siddharth greeted, "Hi, Ranbir! Prachi, come in!" Ranbir, curious, asked, "Wait, how did you know that Pravya is actually Prachi?"
Siddharth chuckled. "From the very first day, I knew."

Ranbir turned to Prachi in disbelief. "And you didn't tell me? Wow."
Prachi defended, "Excuse me! When you misunderstood me, Siddharth was the one who supported me like a brother. A boy and a girl can be best friends!"

Ranbir replied, "Yeah, you're right. But Sid, you never mentioned your love story until now. I always asked you if you loved someone, and you never shared!"

Siddharth smiled. "I kept it a secret. Vividha and I have been in love for five years."

Ranbir was shocked. "What?!?! Are you serious? You've been in a relationship for five years, and you didn't tell me this?
Not fair, bro!"
Siddharth shrugged. "Well, Prachi knew everything."

Ranbir, again surprised, said, "Seriously? You share everything with her but not with me?
Come on, man! I'm your brother!"

Siddharth responded playfully, "Oh, hello! If I'm your brother, then she's my sister, and she understands me better than you do!"
Ranbir remarked, "But still, that's not fair!"

Prachi playfully hit Ranbir on the arm. "You're about to become a dad, and you're still acting like a child!"

Ranbir laughed. "Hey, I'll always be like this, even when our kid arrives!" Prachi just rolled her eyes at his antics.
Siddharth smiled warmly at them. "And congratulations, you two, on the great news!"

"Thank you, bro!" Ranbir beamed.
"Thanks, Siddharth!" Prachi echoed. She noticed Vividha was quiet. Approaching her, she asked, "Hi, why are you so silent? Is everything okay?"

Vividha smiled lightly and replied, "Congratulations, Bhai! Congratulations, Bhabhi, on your good news!"

Ranbir corrected her, "Thank you, but I'm your devar ji😂!"
"And I'm your devarani, so technically I should call you bhabhi😂!" Prachi joked, chuckling.

Vividha replied, "No bhabhi, actually, I don't feel comfortable calling you by name.
I feel you're older than me, so I'll just call you bhabhi!"
She turned to Ranbir and said, "And I'll call you bhai."

Ranbir smiled, "Okay, fine😊."
Prachi added, "Okay fine, as you wish😍!"
They all exchanged warm smiles.

Guys, I introduced a new girl in Siddharth's life because he certainly doesn't deserve such a vamp like Rhea! He really deserves so much better, that's why I introduced a new girl!
