chapter two

y/n's pov:

as my friend group and i sat in math class at edina high , we heard the principal say on the intercom " all students please report to the gym ". i found it weird since we don't have assembly's often.

" i wonder what going on. " nia questioned.

" yeah me too. i hope it's nothing bad. " i responded.

" who knows. it's edina high. " xion joked

we all laughed and made our way to the gym. we found an empty bleacher and all five of us sat down together.

" alright, settle down students. this is nothing bad. it's recognition. " our principal reassured

all of the students calmed down and paid attention to our principal.

" we all here know of the private academy known as eden hall, correct ? " our principal asked.

we all agreeed.

" well, eden hall has offered five very talented student athletes a full scholarship to attend their academy. " they exclaimed.

" oh my gosh! a full scholarship to eden hall ? " i asked excitingly.

" man that's crazy. " emanuel replied.

" sure is. " gabriela agreed.

" now, may the following students please stand as i call your name. " the principal directed.

" gabriela ramírez. xion jacobs. nia reeves. emanuel torrez ... and y/n l/n." they repeated.

we gave each other the look of shock. we were all in denial but smiling like crazy.

" please step down the gym floor so we can congratulate you all. " the principal said.

we all rushed down the bleacher stairs.

" oh! i almost forgot. " the principal remembered.

" you guys are attending the academy on a hockey scholarship! " our principal said with an excited tone.

just getting a scholarship to attend eden hall is amazing, but knowing that we're going on a hockey scholarship makes it even more exciting but a lot more nerve racking knowing that it could be taken away at any time.
