Chapter 44 Nico who?

Thea's POV

Im inside Migs car.

Im looking outside as the car moves.

Its raining.

Its like my tears. Its non stop.

I feel betrayed.

Ive been thinking of what I did.

Am i not enough?

Is there something lacking or its just that he really doesn't love me?

The thought of it hurts.

I thought we are okay.

"Thea."

I heard Migs called my name but i can't respond. Im not in the mood. Nahihiya ako sa kanya. Wala akong mukang maiharap sa kanya. I chose Lee because I thought he was the right choice but I was so wrong. Nasasaktan ako dahil sa kanya and worst eh kasama ko ung taong iniwan ko para sa kanya.

How ironic.

Sana di ko na lang sya pinili. Sana di ko na lang sya minahal.

The thought of loving him makes me realized that its all Migs fault why I loved that jerk.

Ayoko manisi. Mali manisi. Kasalanan ko. Tanga ako.

"Migs bar tayo." Gusto ko makalimot. Tinanung ko sya without even looking at him.

"Sure ka?" Tinignan ko sya. Halata sa mata nyang nag aalala sya.

I smiled bitterly. "Yes. Birthday ko diba. Gusto ko mag enjoy."

He held my hand. I feel warm. His hand is warm.

"Cge. I will call the team."

Hinatid ako ni Migs. Pagpasok na pagpasok ko ng pad di napigilan ang luha ko.

Bakit para silang may marathon? Nag uunahan pa silang bumagsak. Tama na. Pagod na ko.

Inikot ko ung mata ko. Parang everything inside this pad remind me of him.

I glanced at the kitchen.

Parang andun sya sa kitchen. Cooking with his pink apron on.

I smiled of the thought. Tapos na diba? Wag mo na isipin Thea. Tama na.

I looked at the side table and saw our pictures together. We look so happy.

I gathered all the frames and put it inside a box.

I have to move on. I have to stand up for my sake.

Ding dong. Ding dong.

I opened the door and saw Migs.

I looked at him as he was standing in front of my door. Same Migs. The Migs I used to love.

"You ready?" He looked at me from head to feet.

I smiled. "Ya!"

"Thea naman."

"I know what you are thinking Miguel. Outfit ko nanaman. P,ease naman ngayon lang. Kasama ko naman kayo. Wag ka ng KJ." I clinged on his arms. "Tara na."

"Haay Thea."

Malapit lang yung barna pinuntahan namin. 7:30 nakarating na kme. Medyo madami ng tao. Maingay. Hinanap namin agad ung team.

Nakita naman namin agad pano ba naman tumayo sa upuan si Wax at sumayaw sayaw. Ang lakas ng trip.

Paglapitnaaglapit namin sa kanila isa isa silang yumakap sakin to greet me.

Hinila ko ni Migs papunta sa likod nya. "Tama na yakap. Pwede naman bumati ng walang yakap."

"Napaka over protective mo naman." Sigaw ni Mark habang tinatawanan si Migs.

"Nako daigmo pa si Lea nyan eh." Bigla naman humirit si Carl. Ung forward ng team. Tumatawa sila except me. Hearing his name makes my heart thump fast. I still love him and I also hate him. I still don'tknowthe reasons. How can I fucking move On if im still stock on him.

I smiled and faced them. "Lee and I broke up." Kaya ko to. Chin up. Im strong. "So im single and ready to mingle." I acted strong and normal. I dont want them to think Im weak. I have to change. No more weak Thea.

"Let's drink to that." Tinaas ni Wax ung hawak nyang baso. Sabay sabay namin syang ginaya at nag bottoms up.

Habang iniinom ko ung nasa baso ko eh inakbayan ako ni Migs. "Thea dahan dahan sa inom ha." I looked at him and smiled.

The night went well. I am having fun. Isa isa kong sinayaw ng team. Until lapitan ako ni Carl na may kasamang lalake na unfamiliar sakin. Di sya kasali sa team pero angtangkad nya.

Inakbayan ako ni Carl pag lapit sakin. "Uy Thea. I want you to meet my cousin. This is Nico. Kanina pa nya kasi ako kinukulitna ipakilala ka."

He looks nice. He's cute and hot. Heextended his hands so I did the same. I glanced atMigs and saw him looking at us. Yan nanaman ung over protective look nya.

"Hi im Thea. Nice meeting you." I said while smiling.

"Im Nico." He smiled back. Oh em. I like his smile.

"Hi Nico. Sorry to be rude but I have to go somewhere. See you around." I left him and went to the bar counter. I saw a familiar stand on the entrance.

My heart thumped fast. Its dribbling like a ball. Is it excitement or pain?

I turned my back. Im not yetready to face him. He still has the same impact on him. My heart wants to jump. I want him badly butwe are over.

I felt someone stood beside me. Super close naman nitong tumabi sakin.

Hinayaan ko lang until the man beside me grabbed me. Hila hila nya ko. Pumipiglas ako pero ang sakit ng hawak nya. Ang ingay kahit sumigaw ako di din ako madidinig. Hinahanap ko sila Wax sa paningin ko pero di ko sila makita.

Ginilid ako nung guy sa side ng bar na wala masyadong tao. My heart wants to burst. Natatakot ako. He cornered me with his arms as I was on the wall. Ang panget nya. He was too close.

"Miss kanina pa kita tinitignan. Mag isa ka? You wantto spend the night with me?" Nakangisi pa sya. Ang baho nya. Amoy alak talaga sya. kadiri. naiiyak nko.

I stayed calm. "Asshole dont touch me." i tried pulling him but he was too strong.

Nakangiti sya. palapit sa akin. malapit na malapit na. i closed my eyes. i could feel his breath. im scared. i started to cry. I opened my eyes and saw the bastard an inch away from me. Pumipiglasako until I saw Lee on the side. I caught his eyes. it was so cold. my tears fell as the bastard comes closer.

"Lee help." I closed my eyes and shout.

Boooogsh.

I heard a loud bang. i opened my eyes and saw the bastard on the floor. I felt relieved. He still cares. Thinking of it makes me cry more. I grabbed his shirt and stopped him from punching the guy. i hugged his back. It feels different.

"Tama na Lee. Tama na yan." I said while still crying.

He held my hand and face me. Iclosed my eyes and looked down.

"Hey Thea are you okay?"

I looked at him to my surprise.

Nico.

Its not Lee. tanga ko lang na isipin na si Lee sya. i cant help myself from crying again. i higged him tight. umasa ko. akala ko may concern pa din sya.

"thank you Nico." i said while still crying. my eyes saw something on the side. It made me cry harder. It was Lee kissing someone. i closed my eyes and everything became black.
