The cold breeze of water enveloped my body, I closed my eyes as it gives me comfort. Inilibot ko ang aking mata sa paligid.

Hindi pa din ako makapaniwala na totoong lugar ito, the water from the falls is as blue as the sky, and the surroundings is surrounded by greenery, this place looks like a scene straight out from a Ghibli movie.

There's a cliff with flower fields full of daisies, presko din ang hangin at walang pollution unlike in Manila, this place is indeed a breath of fresh air.

Although I enjoy partying and clubbing, I also like places like this. Quiet and far from school and stress, and far from my father.

I remember when I was young, we used to live in a place like this, but when I grew up we moved out and decided to live in Metro because of family business.

I didn't get a chance to appreciate living in countryside, Gusto ko ding ma experience kung paano manirahan sa probinsiya, because it's like everyone here is friends, lagi din silang nagbibigayan ng mga gulay or prutas kapag may ani.

Sa ilang araw na pananatili ko dito, ang isa pang kapansin pansin ay ang pagiging mabait ng mga tao dito, they are all welcoming and hindi nila ipaparamdam sa iyo na iba ka sa kanila.

Madali ko din silang naging ka close, lalo na ang tita at lola ni Freyr, they would bring foods in the house, and the whole afternoon they're there, we would just talk about things.

At dahil na din sa madalas naming pag-kukwentuhan ay mas nakilala ko pa si Freyr mula sa mga kwento nila.

Freyr is an only child, and he grew up with his lola because of some Family problem, ayon din sa lola ni Freyr ay lumaki itong masipag at hindi umaasa sa bigay ng mga magulang nito. When he was ten years old, he would help to sell coconut in the farm, he would also help to clean the horses to earn extra income.

And because Freyr is smart, hindi na nila problema ang tuition nito dahil isa itong scholar ng isang sikat na engineering firm, at iyon din ang dahilan kung bakit nakapasok siya sa school namin.

Noon pa lang ay alam ko nang masipag si Freyr, but I didn't imagine him being this hard working, to the point that he had to work at an early age to support himself. Maybe if I was in his situation, I would just cry.

Hindi na ako nagulat sa mga kwento ng lola ni Freyr, rather than being shock I feel more proud knowing his situation, and how hard working he is. He really make his way to the top, and he deserve the things that he has right now.

I was about to swim deeper nang may biglang humablot sa bewang ko, Freyr's worried face welcomed me.

"Don't swim too far, malalim na diyan," he said while pulling me closer to him, I held his arms for support.

"I know how to swim," saad ko naman at pinasadahan ang buhok na nagka buhol buhol dahil sa paglangoy.

Tinulungan din ako ni Freyr na mag ayos ng buhok, habang ang isang kamay niya ay nakahawak pa din sa akin, na para bang ako'y mawawala kapag binitawan niya.

Hindi ko mapigilang titigan siya, because we're swimming right bow he's not wearing his glasses ngunit nakatabon ang basa niyang buhok sa kanyang mata. I'm sure he can see because there's gaps in there but that hair is bothering me.

Mas lumapit ako sa kanya at hinawi ang kanyang buhok pataas, he was shocked by my sudden move kaya naman ay bahagya siyang napa atras, ngunit mas lalo akong lumapit sa kanya para mas maayos ang buhok niya.
