"Where is it!?" Jamie looks through all the pockets of her jackets and coats, looking through her purses, searching for the folded piece of paper she was given the night before by her old friend Marcus. She knows she left it in her jeans, she knows this for a fact but...
She pauses when she remembers. "That idiotic masked asshole! He did it on purpose!"
Jamie quickly changes into blue denim low rise jeans, a black leather belt with a nude long sleeve top with matching sandal heels. Pulling on a thick, half sleeve coat to go with it, she goes down the stairs with a thunder in her step, going to her previously parked SUV and making her way to the address Crow gave her in case she needed them.
.....
"Where is it?" Hitter pulls his mask up over his face and stands along with his sister as an angry James Davenport strides into Crow's office, taking off her coat and revealing the tight long sleeve T-shirt underneath. The buzzer was being called countless times to the apartment and when Crow went to go check who it could be this late.
It was Jamie. They had to let her in. "The only info I could get about that Prescott person you kept asking me about and you took that from me before I could even look at it."
"I don't know what you're talking about, Davenport." Silver Hitter states and Jamie places her hands on his chest and shoves him back. Hard.
"Woah woah woah, Jamie. What's going on?" Crow holds the steaming female back before she can clock her brother in the face.
"Your brother is a lying bastard. That's what."
"Hitter?" Crow turns to him and he shrugs.
"I didn't do it." He lies blankly and Jamie huffs unbelievably then turns around and pulls her phone out.
"Stay away from me, both of you. Or the next time you come near, I'll kill you both. Stay away from my mother too."
"Jamie-"
"Save it Crow. I mean it, I'm not somebody you wanna mess with. Stay away from my family or else." Jamie leaves, her heels dramatically thinning against the high quality tiling and Crow turns to her older brother once she's gone.
"Well great, now she'll kill us unless we fix this." Crow throws her hands up in frustration and walks back to her computer.
"It's not like you disagreed to the plan. Yasmine told us to keep Jamie away from all of this and until we clear it up for ourselves, that's what I'm gonna do. Our job is to protect her, not be her friend."
Crow looks up at him and scoffs. "I'll let you believe that while I try to find a solution, then."

Jamie spends the next couple of days trying to get in contact with her friend Marcus, but she's heard nothing from him in return. Any reach she makes towards finding out about the surname Prescott could possibly mean gets discarded and she's slowly losing her temper at how much control Silver Hitter and Crow really have over her and she knew nothing about it until it was absolutely necessary in her mother's opinion.
Today, her oldest sister Rickson called her to get her nails done and along with her their other sisters also got an invite too. So now she's taking a break from the thing with her mom, and getting a spa treatment with the girls.
"Sugar, what's going on with you?" Rickson asks, sensing how tense her sister is but Jamie simply rolls her eyes as she rests her head back against the neck rest of her seat, her feet being cleaned along with her toenails.
"If you're talking about me being here when I normally like personal spa days. Relax, because I'm far from thrilled but I needed a distraction." Jamie opens her eyes and meets those of her younger sister Elly, who smiles then faces the ceiling. "Can I ask you guys something?"
