Jamie sifts through the contents of her closet, looking for something to wear to court today. She made sure that the appointment was set for sooner rather than later because this entire thing was dragging out for longer than she desired.

The automated closet spins, showcasing all of the different colours she has in choices, all coordinated according to a colour wheel and she stands and watches, occasionally pulling pieces when they hold her interest for longer that a second.

She picked out a few outfits the other day when shopping with Anne, now she just has to select the final winner and pair it with something from her revolving wardrobe. The question is what?

Finally tugging a blush pink pantsuit from the rack and a watching blouse which she just purchased, she goes and takes her shower, opening her medicine cabinet and taking out a few headache pills which she swallows dry, needing to get rid of the throbbing of being hungover for the fourth time this week.

It's amazing how much one person can indulge of rosé gummy bears in one week and she already feels the bubbling bile so early in the morning.

She might have overdone it but the candy becomes so addictive that she forgets it's alcohol in sweet form.

After her shower, Jamie styles her hair in a wavy blowout since it's gained some length and does her makeup, getting dressed and picking her favourite pair of tall heels.

The blouse does a great job of making sure that her visible chest appears somewhat classy and not trashy and her blazer makes her appear professional over all of the boss energy her strong pantsuit portrays.

One more glance in the mirror and a bag choice layer, Jamie goes outside to meet her mother's driver who is taking her to the Davenport household for a quick meet with the lawyers.

Today is gonna be a long day. Jamie rolls her eyes at the thought and slips sunglasses over her tired eyes, not at all looking forward to it.

"Jamie." Rickson greets with a smile when her younger sister comes into their mom's house a few hours before Jamie was asked to appear in court. Rickson is carrying her youngest son, Kane, who is four, his identical green eyes to his mother's sparkling with innocence unlike her twin girls, who have their father's blue eyes—a little bit more mischievous.

"Hey." Jamie keeps her sunglasses over her eyes as she looks around at the large brunch set up on a long table with fancy glass centerpieces and fresh flowers. She frowns, confused since her mom said her and the lawyers just had a few things to go through which is why she came over, not an entire gathering. "You're here too?"
