"Ah, Candy. Long time no talk."
"I don't have too much time Kimmy, I need you to look into something for me..."
I give Kim Wolf and Crow's phone numbers, then ask her to find out anything and everything about the owners of the phones without giving too much info but, "Be careful, the latter number is a hacker."
"Okay, I'll call you soon. Also, I love that blue on you." Click. I smile as I look down at my outfit, then use my fingers to create a heart. Just as I assumed, I receive a text from an unknown number of a heart.
"Jamie."
I swivel around and Wolf's eyes trail over me as mine do over him, his body clad in black pants and a black T-shirt, a light grey coat and white sneakers. "You look nice." I admire, the sun bouncing off his dark brown eyes as he stands facing me.
"You look...unbelievable yourself." I smile and walk forward into his arms, kissing his lips gently and smiling.
"I love how I can do that now." I say, lifting his hand where I noticed him holding a white mask to go with his shoes, securing it over his nose and mouth. "Let's go."
.....
Wolf takes Jamie to his yacht, watching her gaze over the almost hand carving of the boat's name along the side of the sleek length. "Luna." Jamie reads out loud, then looks at Wolf questioningly. "Why?"
"Because, my name is Wolf and she's my Luna..." He explains proudly but Jamie just blinks at him, not understanding, so he goes on to explain how the wife of the alpha of a wolf pack is usually referred as a Luna.
"So, this boat is your soulmate?"
"She, is most definitely so."
"What does that make me?" Jamie asks seriously and his eyes flash to hers so quickly she almost laughs at his gaping mouth, making her way over to him and wrapping her arms around his waist, gazing into his eyes. She continues to tease him. "Hm?"
"Wanna see the inside?" Wolf mumbles hurriedly in attempt to change the topic, taking Jamie's hand and leading her onto the yacht. Climbing on first, he holds his hands out and wraps them around her waist, lifting her on effortlessly.
"Oh my gosh." Jamie breathes, looking around at the sleek grey and copper interior of the sleek black yacht, her heels clicking against the wooden floor as she looks around, placing down her small purse as she makes her way deeper inside.
"What do you think?"
"Oh, it's amazing. I'm always on the go, so I've never invested in a yacht but I've always thought of owning one." She tells him, turning back around and smiling. "It's cool."
"I'm glad you think so. We'll be spending a lot of time on here. Come on, breakfast is out on the deck." Leading her outside, Wolf holds Jamie's hand and lowers her down into the round booth, watching in admiration as she looks around the view when the yacht starts moving, away from the decking yards.
"Where are we going?" Jamie asks, tucking her hair behind her ear when the wind starts blowing it around.
"Just taking a spin. Champagne?"
"Thank you." Jamie lifts her glass and Wolf opens the bottle, causing a soft squeal to leave her lips when it flies almost over her shoulder.
Wolf chuckles and he pours her a glass, taking off his mask and pouring some juice for himself still in a champagne glass and clinking it against hers. Jamie and Wolf talk each others ears senselessly, the cool breeze of the cruising yacht blowing around them refreshingly.
