Before leaving, you left a note on the table just telling Stephen that you were sorry and that you'd see him tomorrow for the mission. You didn't want to face him right now, you couldn't, not after what he saw. You didn't know if leaving a note was the best thing to do but it was all you could muster up the courage to do right now. Grabbing Loki's arm with a scowl, you demanded for him to teleport you both home.

"What's the matter love?" He asked in an innocent tone.

"You know exactly what's wrong, just take us home."

"Your wish is my command." He winked before you were both standing in the hallway outside your rooms.

Turning away from him, you turned to get Seven from Tony and Pepper. You heard Loki calling you but decided to just ignore him. This was practically his fault. You can't resist him, he knows that, this was not NOT your fault although maybe you could have— NO this was not your fault.

"Y/N" he called again.

"what?" you huffed turning around.

"You can't possibly be in a bad mood with me." He said gesturing to himself.

"Bad mood? No Loki I'm embarrassed." You sighed.

"Embarrassed? Why?"

"Loki, did you not just experience what I experienced?"

"No, but I wish I had." He grinned scanning your body.

"For goodness sake Loki. Stop" you quietly shouted causing him to take a step backwards.

"Y/N, I'm sorry."

"You're not. Let's just go and get Sev." You decided.

"No wait. You're angry at me." He said pulling you back. "Talk to me."

You and Loki stood facing one another, looking into each others eyes. You tried to keep your expression stern as his expression remained nonchalant. Realising the situation you were actually in, you bit your lip trying to stifle a smile. Your eyebrows started trembling before you broke out into a laugh prompting Loki's nonchalant expression to match your humoured one.

"Did you see his face?" You chuckled.

"I'm Stephen Strange and I can't believe what I just saw." Loki mocked doing an impression of Stephen causing you to laugh even harder as you fell into his arms in a wave of cackles.

"Loki s-stop that's enough." You chortled as he began pretending he was making a portal.

"I love you y/n." He smiled.

"I love you too now let's go get our daughter."

When you both got Seven, she was beyond excited talking about all the plans for her new room. You thanked Tony and Pepper before deciding on a movie night in Loki's room. Halfway through the film, you fell asleep and woke up during the night with Seven sleeping between you both. You tried to go back to sleep but you couldn't. Every time you'd fall back to sleep, the same reoccurring dream would haunt you. Instead of suffering, you decided to try and tire yourself out further in the training room. As you walked in, you saw Bucky.

"Sorry, I'll leave." He said picking up his water bottle.

"Hey, it's fine, stay." You smiled.

"Look y/n I'm sor—" he began.

"No, I'm sorry Bucky honestly I am. You were right, I did forgive Loki for what he did because it wasn't his fault, he was under the influence of other forces same as you. You wouldn't even have been in that position if not for me. I've been cold and overly protective of Seven. I apologise. Can we move past this please?" You asked as you stepped closer to him.

"I'd like that." He replied putting his right hand out for you to shake.

"Come here." You said grabbing his left hand and pulling him towards you as you attempted a hug.

You and Bucky done a small work out in the gym before deciding to call it a night. You headed up to Loki's room and peeped at him and Seven through a gap in the door. Seven was laying horizontally across the pillows, hogging the duvet with a hand gripping a clump of Loki's hair. How she managed to get there was a mystery but the sight was sweet.

Once you got to your own room, you showered and checked the time. It was only 2 in the morning so you had time to try and get back to sleep and wake up for tomorrow's important mission. Your work out luckily tired you out, when your head hit the pillow, you fell asleep.
Once you were fast asleep, the nightmare once again consumed you. The blood running down your legs, the weight of Loki in your arms as he took his last breath, the crimson stained dress, the horrified expressions of everyone in the hospital. Panting, you woke up up a cold sweat before looking at the clock on your bedside table. 9 AM. Morning. Great.

Before panic could set in, you recalled the previous night. Seven was safe, Loki was safe, they were both in his room. Both safe together in his room. Alive, real, sa—
Flinging open your bedroom door, you pushed open Lokis to find—

"When she sings she sings come home when she sings she sings come home." Loki sang.

— singing, they were singing.

"Morning my love, what's troubled you?" He asked concerned putting Seven down and walking towards you, placing the back of his hand on your forehead.

"Do you even know what you're doing?" You asked with a small laugh.

"No" he said letting his hand fall "breakfast?"

"Ice creammmm."

"No Sev."
