Breakfast

Sunlight streamed through your window alerting you that it was morning. The next day was here. Yesterday happened. Groaning, you turned around, pulling a pillow over your head. Inhaling, you felt nauseous smelling Loki's ridiculous, stupid, divine cologne. You threw the pillow to the floor before beginning to open your eyes which were still puffy from the hours of alternating between crying and sniffling before falling into a welcomed dreamless sleep the previous night. Getting up, you threw a dressing gown on before stripping your bedding and replacing it with clean ones.

This mornings shower was one of 'those' ones. The shower that's slightly hotter. The shower that's slightly longer. The shower that temporarily strips away all the hurt, the desolation, the melancholy, only to have it all rush back as soon as the water stops. You focused on washing off him. The feeling of his hands on you. The feeling of him on top of you, next to you, between you, you washed it all away.

Once you got changed and done your hair, you smiled at yourself in the mirror before leaving to pick up Seven from Natasha's room. Opening your door, you were greeted by a dishevelled looking Loki.

"Y/n, we need to talk about us." He beseeched.

"Well, we're still earths mightiest hero's it appears and you happen to still be the father of my daughter so there's that." You huffed pushing past him and walking down the hallway.

"Y/n." He cooeed after you.

Spinning around to face him, you put your hands on his chest as you looked up at him.

"Please Loki— just please" you said furrowing your brows as you pushed him backwards towards his room "go and sleep."

Turning away, you stormed down the hallway, ignoring the feeling of him staring at you. Arriving at Natasha's room, you walked in seeing the door was open.

"There's my little angel." You smiled walking towards Seven and picking her up "morning Nat" you nodded at Natasha.

"Morning y/n, me and this little one have been discussing—" Natasha started before being interrupted by a cheerful Seven.

"Flowersssss girlsssss." She clapped.

"Sev? A flower girl? Awww my little baby's growing up" you falsely frowned kissing her on the forehead before turning towards Natasha with a wide smile. "Thanks Nat, now, let me get this mini frost giant some breakfast" you said waving at Natasha "say bye Sev."

As you walked out, Natasha tapped your shoulder with a raised brown causing you to put Seven down before turning to face her.

"Y/n, is everything alright?" She asked concerned.

"Everything's great Nat. Just gonna make this one something to eat and then arrange a meeting with the rest of the team to discuss me and Stephens mission." You affirmed trying your hardest to muster a believable smile.

"From what I heard, Loki tired to kill Stephen." She laughed. You laughed along, ignoring the pain in your chest at hearing his name.

"That's ridiculous. SHIELD do love to exaggerate." You chuckled, leaving with Seven.

When you arrived in the kitchen, you heard Bucky singing as he prepared himself some breakfast. You looked at Seven and put a finger over your lips as you waited for him to notice you both. Hearing the next song, you couldn't help yourself from singing along as well as you walked further in towards him.

"Come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be." You both sang along causing Bucky to turn to you using a spatula as a microphone "as a friend, as a friend, as an old enemy."

"Morning Buck" you greeted taking the fork that was in his other hand and using it to taste the eggs that were in the pan.

"Nice?" He smiled as you chewed.

"Very." You said quickly before singing again.

"Memorrrrriiiiaaaaa, memorriaaaaaa" you both sang.
Laughing, you began preparing Sevens breakfast as you carried on dancing around the kitchen, weaving around Bucky who was still cooking.

"Boo" you heard from behind you as Thor walked in and scared Seven who just stared at him before shouting "BOOO" back.

"Morning little princess." He beamed.

"For!" Seven exclaimed.

"Morning Thor." You smiled.

"Did you discover anything at the party?" He asked sitting down next to Seven.

"Yes, I'm gonna call a meeting to discuss everything properly." You replied sitting opposite them both before being handed a plate from Bucky "what's this?" You asked turning and looking up at him.

"Breakfast." He replied with a wink.

"Y/N, have you seen Loki?" Thor asked making you turn from Bucky towards him.

"He's sleeping." You replied simply before beginning to eat.
