After the three of you had breakfast, you were ushered into the briefing room by Steve who was making sure you knew all the details of the mission. You and Strange were to go to a trade disguised as a party pretending to be the Quinn's who were a couple that were particularly interested in the acquiring of dark objects along with other materials. Whilst there, you were going to find out as much information as you could about the person or entity that is trying to be your families downfall. Whatever this thing was, it knew that Loki was of Jotunheim and that Seven was Loki's daughter, even before you did. It also had been planning your demise from when it first got that man to kidnap you. From then, you were a pawn in this sadistic conflict against Loki.

"Me and Natasha will be near you outside at all times so keep your comms on incase things go left."

"Steve, that wasn't the plan. We cant risk you being discovered, I can't risk you being discovered. This mission isn't just avengers business Steve, this is my family. Besides, me and Strange can handle ourselves." You pleaded.

"That we can." Strange said entering the room through a portal. "If needs be, me and y/n can defend ourselves from a few traders."

"Trading in dark objects? I don't think you know what you're dealing with." Steve warned.

"I know a lot more than you" Strange spat "and I also know that there won't actually be any dark objects at the gathering tonight. Pieces are shown virtually, purchased then prepped for shipping or did you not actually read the files Steve?" He retorted.

"Well, still keep your comms on just incase. If needed, we can be there within 15 minutes." Steve settled, slightly reeling from Strange's retort as he turned to walk out of the room leaving just you and Strange.

"Hi" you said awkwardly once the silence became deafening.

"Hello." He smiled with a small wave trying to hide his blush.

"About yesterday" you began trying to clear the air before your mission "I-didn't-it was-I'm sorry."

"Let's just not mention it." He replied turning away from you.

There was a short pause before you decided to speak again.

"So, ready to marry me?" You said with a small laugh.

"More than." He smiled.

Your conversation was interrupted by Loki walking into the room.

"Where's Sev?" You questioned.

"With Thor. Am I interrupting something?" He asked sitting down.

"Nothing." Strange added.

There was a silence as Loki decided to drum his index and middle fingers on the table, the same fingers that—

"Well, I'm going to go and get dressed." You said standing up.

"Wait, don't forget your ring." Strange called after you with the ring "Mrs Quinn" he simpered putting the ring on your finger.

Pretty much sprinting from the room, you halted your movements before running back in and dragging Loki away with you. "I'll be back in a minute Stephen feel free to get changed in the spare room." You smiled.

After reassuring Loki you'd be fine and saying goodbye to Seven, you went back to the briefing room where Stephen was waiting, wearing a black suit along with his own ring.

"You look dapper." You commented.

"As always, you look great." Stephen replied walking towards you.

"Great? Is that the best you can do?" You teased twirling around.

"Fine, you look exquisite." He added.

"Better" you smiled "ready?"

"Time for them to meet the Quinns." He replied holding his arm out.

You and Stephen left the compound via portal and arrived near the venue. Walking the rest of the way, you both paused outside the doors.

"What's the password" a guard asked not allowing you in. Your heart skipped a beat at the question. You didn't know there was a password that you'd have to know to enter. You had spent all this time preparing and you didn't even find out the—

"Archangel" Steph-no, Andrew Quinn, your husband confirmed.

"Names?" The guard asked.

"Irina and my husband Andrew, we're the Quinn's" you smiled, doing your accent flawlessly.

"Welcome" the guard said gesturing you hastily inside.
From the outside, the building looked derelict and abandoned but on the inside, it was a lavish, grandiose reception filled with dozens of people who could lead you exactly to the thing you were after. Time to mingle you thought looking around.
