Adrian watched her leave before he got up to leave. Adrian had no more classes with Evelin that morning. He was bored the majority of the time, in English, Physic, and Government he was doing things he already studied.
Evelin enjoyed her morning classes, and getting back to learning new material. She ate lunch with Alba and Lucilia. They talked about small things. This weeks basketball game, new subjects in classes, and plans for the weekend that seemed very far away.
Adrian ate lunch with Lexus and Alex. They didn't talk to each other much. Alex was struck with the absolutes the day meant. In LA all his close friends would be starting there second semester classes too. Alex wished he was with them. It renewed his fading anger at Adrian.
Lexus, felt out of place here. It sent up her walls for protection, she could tell people were judging her by her weight instead of her personalty. She was putting up her walls to protect herself. So she had stopped talking and became shy. She was happy she had her brothers. She had been avoiding being with Alex. There contact a few nights ago had been inappropriate he was her brother. But she had liked the way he made her feel, and that was wrong.
The twins both shared a mutual want to be out of Willowcreek High School, there own personal prison. Alex was considering skipping, but decided he would get caught, since it was only the first day of the semester.
The bell rung the siblings got up and headed to class. None spook, Alex and Adrian were frustrated with each other and Lexus didn't feel like being in the middle of it at the moment. Adrian had calculus next. Which was his least favorite class and if Alex had asked he would have more then willingly skipped with him.
Evelin parted with her friends. She wished she could have sat and talked to them forever but she had to get to class. She went to calculus.
Entering class she passed Adrian. There male math teacher, Mr. Sampson had long red curly hair. He loved math and really got into teaching. Evelin passed Adrian he smiled at her friendly and she gave him a small polite smile back. The class was the normal senior class and was the biggest class Evelin had. It had almost 25 students in it. Which would have been almost a quarter of Evelin graduating class, if it weren't for the 10 juniors taking advanced math. Adrian sat down in the only empty desk. The Desk was behind Evelin. She didn't really arachnoid him as he sat down. Mr. Sampson, began to teach his class with high enthusiasm.
Evelin followed the class perfectly. She got math it clicked. She jotted down a few simple notes. Adrian on the other hand was endlessly confused. He wrote down everything that was said, trying Examples and ending up miles from the correct answer. The homework was given. Evelin opened her book and started the homework. She solved problems and got correct answers.
Adrien was about ready to quit. He didn't get it He looked up to see that Evelin had already finished the homework and was opening her book reading book again.
"Your already finished?" Adrian said dumbfounded he had yet to figure out the first equation.
"yeah it was easy there were only ten problems." Evelin said without turning around to look at Adrian.
The class room was erupting in conversation as the class finished the light homework.
"Could you help me?" Adrian asked in a small voice swallowing his pride. He didn't like to ask for help in academics, it made him feel stupid. He was a Grantwise, he should just understand it.
" Sure." Evelin said putting the book down and looking Adrian's homework. She picked up the page and showed him is error. Evelin could have been speaking another language as far as Adrian was concerned.
"What?" Adrian said starring at Evelin like she was speaking another language. Well as far as Adrian was concerned she was. The bell rung before Evelin could elaborate anymore.
"You need a lot more help," Evelin said flatly.
"I know I told you I was having trouble at boarding school. Could you tutor me?" Adrian said.
"That could be arranged." Evelin said giving him a big smile.
"Tonight?" Adrian asked, "at my house?"
"Thats fine."
"Okay, I'll call you." Adrian said with one of his smirks, that made Evelin want to hit him.
