Adrian followed put in an action movie and sat next to Evelin. She was tired and ended up leaning against Adrian and falling asleep. Adrian watch almost to the end of the movie before also falling asleep tired from the week of early mornings at school.
Alba wasn't having fun on her date. She had thought Alex was really cool, but he was kind of boring, he talked about traveling the world but wasn't excited about much. There personalities clashed. He told her about his family unimaginable sums of money. He had even picked her up in the Ferrari.
But Alba's grandmother had always told her there more important things then money and that surprised Alex who was expecting girls to want him just because of his money. Alex found his sister more interesting than this small town girl. Both of them were happy when the date was over and they went home.
Alex arrived home to find his brother and his girlfriend to be passed out on the coach.
“Adrian get up.” Alex said shaking his brother. “Come on if you don't get up and take Evelin home she'll miss curfew,”
Adrian realized it was night and shook Evelin up to take her home. She groggily woke up. Adrian didn't need his crutches to walk anymore, though his ankle still required to be wrapped. Evelin was awake and conscience by the the time they were stepping into Alex's Infinity sedan. Alex was letting him drive his old car with Adrian's promise that he would be nice to the car, even though it had been replaced by his ostentatious Ferrari, he was still found of it.
Alex headed upstairs after Adrian and Evelin left. Thomas's lights were off, but Lexus's lights were still on. Alex knocked on her door. Lexus let Alex into her room. Her computer light was on and the television was paused.
“Hey, How was your date?” Lexus asked with both fake happiness and enthusiasm.
“It was a complete fluke,” Alex said and was happy to see her give a slightly genuine smile. “Your still mad?” Alex said. Lexus nodded. “I'm sorry. She meant nothing. She is nothing compared to you” Alex said hugging her. She feel into his arms easily. The held there for a while allowing themselves to be touched by the person they wanted to be touched by for the first time in weeks. They layed down and fell asleep still fully dressed just cuddling, and being happy.
The next weeks went like that. January and the first weeks of February left the mountain town of Willowcreek, the snow slowed as the heart of winter began to pass. Adrian and Evelin healed; castes were removed and they were free to restart activities normally . Alex and Lexus continued there incestuous love. Lucilia and Eric lead there mutual basketball teams to accomplished seasons for a small school of four hundred some students.
Adrian had got in the habit of picking up Evelin each morning in his replacement Range Rover. There relationship hadn't progressed past soft kissing and an occasional make out session. But Adrian had except Evelin's no groping. They had gotten to know each other better. Adrian had meet Evelin's family. Dominique like Adrian he seemed polite and kind. Margret had millions of questions for Evelin about what it was like to have boyfriend and to kiss a boy. Most of which Evelin had wiggled out of answering.
Audrey was back at home. She and Thomas were happy with there children, they had good grade and behavior as far as they could tell. They were glad to see the twins spending time together watching movies and playing games. They failed to see that there was more going on then brother and sisterly love.
Audrey and Thomas were proud of Adrian, he had a real relationship and was doing great in school. They contributed most of which on Evelin believing that she was a good influence.
Evelin had checked the weather on the Television this weekend would be warm enough for a long hike. She had gone on a few short ones by her self, but she wanted to bring Adrian on this weekends.
“Hey, whats the plan for this weekend?” Evelin asked after stepping into the warm SUV, “Because I was thinking we could go for a hike Saturday.”
“Thats fine, if we go on a trail ride Saturday.” Adrian said wanting to take the horses out.
Evelin wasn't thrilled about going riding. But then she doubted Adrian would be dieing to hike the distance she had planed. “It's a deal.” Evelin said.
Adrian grinned he would get his ride, even it meet what ever torturous hike Evelin planed.
At school they walked holding hands most of the time. They stood conjugated in a front of there locker not wanting to go to class. Lucilia and Eric were talking about the football game a topic no one else really felt like talking about. They would occasionally comment or add to but sports didn't run there lives or thoughts. Alba, Evelin, and Adrian still planed to attend the game to support there friends.
Alex and Lexus had joined Adrian's newly adopted group for a while, but in the end just opted to do things together. Neither Alex or Lexus felt like they fit in with the group.
“Hey Evelin what are you doing for your birthday?” Alba asked Evelin randomly she was already planning Evelin's present.
Evelin looked at her friend inquisitively, her birthday wasn't for another two and a half weeks, March fourth seemed miles away at the moment. She had know idea what she planed to do, her cabin was too small to really host a party in. So she shrugged, “I have know idea Alba.”
Alba wanted to bug her more on the subject, but she had class to get to, and it wasn't worth being tardy over.
Adrian hadn't known the date of Evelin's birthday, it had a fast arriving and Adrian wanted to do something special for Evelin. He would talk to his parents. They had that Friday off school maybe, they could spend that weekend somewhere interesting outside of Willowcreek.
