Love in Unexpected Places

Chapter 18

Lexus was sitting in Alex's lap now he had gone to rubbing the lower part of her back. Lexus head lay against his shoulders. Lexus and Alex were enjoying this in a way sibling shouldn't enjoy touching each other.

            Suddenly Lexus turned around and kissed Alexander. Not a friendly greeting kiss that might be somewhat acceptable, but a make out leading to groping kind of a kiss. Neither object because this is really that was what they both wanted. They wanted to be lovers not siblings. Alex's hands felt over Lexus's body, feeling the thin straps of her bikini. Running his hands underneath them.

            Lexus pulled away, aware that she was straddling her brother in the hot tub that was surrounded by windows. Adrian was probably home and he could walk in on them.

Alex caught Lexus's thinking, “Upstairs?”

She nodded and climbed out of the water Alex followed both grabbing towels. And moving seamlessly into Lexus's bedroom.

            Evelin had finally begun to relax she didn't like being on the big horse. Adrian could feel Evelin relax her tense body. So for the fun of it he gave the horse a squeeze and Tappin began to canter. His stride was big and it reminded Adrian of flying. Evelin tensed and felt as though she might fall. Even though she was securely between Adrian's arms she felt venerable.

            "Stop," Evelin said as she slide to one side. Adrian let out a deep breathe Tappin began to walk.

            "was that to much?" Adrian asked teasingly.

            "I want to get off." Evelin said with all seriousness.

            Adrian didn't say a word, he hopped down in a single smooth motion. Then helped Evelin dismount. "Swing your leg over his hunches." Evelin followed his instructions. So her legs hung over the horse. Adrian took advantage of the position and but his hands on her hips, "Then jump down."

            Evelin let herself fall from the saddle and her feet hit the ground.

Adrian wasn't done riding he got back on,

            "Evelin you can sit down, I'm going to ride for a moment," Adrian said as he gestured to a chair on the arenas far wall. Evelin sat down and watched as Adrian rode. He was showing off for her, Flying around the Arena.

            But at the same time he was enjoying himself. He hadn't just rode for the hell of it a while. Usually he was in lessons or with Lexus and Alex, which became a who could ride better competition.

            Evelin noticed that he was smiling contently as he rode. Not smirking, but really smiling.             Adrian rode the arena and then did an emergency dismount in attempt to looking talented and smooth . But instead he stumbled at fell down. Evelin resisted the urge to smile.

Adrian got up with nothing wrong but some hurt pride. He looked at Evelin who looked like she wanted to laugh at him.

            "Whats so amusing?"

            "Oh, I don't something about you falling down." Evelin said fully obnoxious.

            "It's harder then it looks," Adrian said in his deference.

            "You could stop the horse before you get off?"

            "But whats the fun in that?" Adrian said Evelin physically shock her head.

            On of The barns horse trainers,  came Gail down to throw evening hay and watched Adrian do his failed Emergency dismount. Gail was in her early fifties with long brown hair that was beginning to Grey. She taught Dressage and flat work mainly, not she taught much anymore since she exclusively worked for the Grantwise's. Her husband Andrew was the more talented of the two. He was a jumper, and had showed competitively at higher levels. Until he had a bad fall. Since he had only trained and had lowered his jumping heights.

            "She has a point, that failed pretty miserably," Gail said harassing Adrian who she'd been teaching Lesson to since he was four.

            Adrian smiled at Gail who stood in the hay loft.

            "You'll have to work on those in your next lesson," said Gail.

            "Oh the joy." Adrian said full of sarcasm. Adrian lead Tappin out of the arena.

             Evelin followed but looked at the other horses. They were mostly big warm bloods. Beautifully muscled with sleek coats. Evelin stopped one stall, The horses name was Teimpo the horse was a  big Ferisan. The stalls had bars in front and Evelin stupidly put her arm through the bar Teimpo muzzled his nose against Evelin's hand. She could feel him breathe in and out against her skin.

            Adrian put Tappin away and went to find were Evelin hand wondered off too. She stood in front of Teimpo stall. The big friesian was bought to be Lexus's horse but she found him easy. he got to live the good life and only have to work when he got trained. Adrian walked behind Evelin and put his hands on her shoulders.

            Evelin almost jumped out of her skin when Adrian touched her unexpectedly.

            "He's pretty isn't he? You want to ride him?" Adrian asked completely serious. Evelin was torn by her dislike of riding horses and her like of the huge horse.

            "Okay," Evelin said as she put her helmet back on. Adrian opened up the stall and clipped Teimpo back up.

            Evelin watched as Adrian saddled and bridled the big horse, Adrian lead Teimpo into the arena, the hay loft was as empty of people as it had been when Adrian and Evelin had begun there ride.

            Evelin mounted Teimpo and followed Adrian's instructions on how to hold reins and where to hold your leg. He put her on a lung line.

Eveline enjoyed riding the big black horse. Adrian crotchet her riding telling her supportively what to fix. Teimpo enjoyed doing something outside of being ridden been by trainers, the horse was patient and giving about Evelin's green mistakes.

            Evelin got off after she had rode for a while. Adrian showed her how to put the horse away and then they left the barn. Adrian took the golf cart back to his house. He and Evelin got into his car and he drove the car toward her home.

"We should go riding again, If the weather improves we could go on trail?" Adrian said hopefully.

"I don't know, I think I'll stick to riding inside."

"Where is the fun in that? Probably doesn't matter the weather will never improve anyway."

"I like the weather right now, it hasn't been raining ice."

"That's worse than snow."

"Exactly."

            The conversation went on like that mindless talk about the weather and school.

Adrian was beginning to find driving to Evelin's second nature. His tire tracks, wee well put into the snow and Adrian had no trouble getting down the lane to Evelin's cabin.

            Adrian stopped his car in front of Evelin's the cabin was dark. Evelin leaned into Adrian in mind of hugging him. but some part of her wanted to kiss him again to feel his lips on hers and she listened to that want. Sharing a second kiss and this one just a gentle as the first.

Adrian was gentle with her, Evelin was like a shy horse and contact touching and kissing terrified her. But she had initiated the kiss but Adrian worked to not elevate it. He drew back and Evelin walked inside her home
