Adrian pulled into the schools parking lot, it was almost empty. They were some of the first students there.
"Could you not have school?"
"Thats unlikely, were more then a half hour early. Why were you driving so early?"
"Didn't feel like dealing with Alex."
"Is he always in a bad mood?"
"Not always. Just recently, I get the worst of everything, he hates me."
"He can't hate you. You're his brother."
"oh, Yes he can." Adrian said insistently, "Do you want to go inside I don't want to leave the car running, it wastes gas."
"Thats fine,"
Evelin slung on her back pack and opened her door. She climbed down. Adrian got out of the car and walked with Evelin toward school. He reached to hold her hand as they walked. She allowed him to hold.
They entered the front door, and prepared for class.
Eric one of Evelin's classmates and Lucilia's boyfriend past them. He was a basketball players and had a tall slender build and with short messy brown hair.
"wow, Evelin thats a lot of PDA," He said jokingly at there interlocked fingers.
"Oh, your one to talk. You and Lucila suck face between classes."
"You've got me. Where is she? I haven't gotten to see her since I got back from Seattle."
"On the bus, the truck wasn't having any of the cold."
"No surprise. The things ancient." Eric said with a laugh, "Who's your Friend?" Eric said gesturing at Adrian.
"Adrian Grantwise."
"Eric Parks, Lucilia's boyfriend. Welcome to Willowcreek."
"Thanks."
"The buses should be arriving soon, I'm going to go find her," Eric said and then disappeared down the stair case.
Evelin continued to her locker in order to get her books. Adrian followed Evelin not needing to get his books.
Alba looked for Evelin. Lucilia had ditched her for Eric. She went to Evelin's locker, and she stood there with Adrian at her side.
"Evelin!" Alba said enthusiastically.
"Hi, Alba!" Evelin said in response with equal enthusiasm.
Alba looked at Adrian, "Hi Adrian," Alba said in a more normal tone.
"Hello,"
"You two are so cute holding hands. Maybe I should take a photo graph"
Evelin wanted to dropped Adrian's hand embarrassed. “Don't be so romantic.” Evelin said as she closed here locker and walked with Adrian and Alba to class.
“But it's fun, your two are so cute!”
Evelin shock her head, “I'm going to class. Bye Alba.”
Alba glared flaky at Evelin and then went toward her own class.
Alex and Lexus arrived with many people starring at the Ferrari. He and Lexus had had a pleasant drive to school. He would rather not be attending Willowcreek High School today but he did what he was forced to. Alex walked in with Lexus. Alex found himself admiring some the guys walking in front of hims butt. He scolded himself as he did regularly about being attracted to the same sex. He often thought he might be gay but kept it to himself, he assumed his parents wouldn't except it.
Evelin and Adrian were happy they the majority of class was again a free period.
"Where were your parents last night?" Evelin asked randomly.
"My mom leaves on a two week United States and Canada book tour today, my dad went with her to Seattle."
" Are they gone a lot?"
"Yeah, why do you think I went to boarding school to begin with? They didn't have time to take care of use, so they let us be there nine months of the year. My dad is constantly traveling for work and my mom on book tours and to see book publishers."
"Oh."
"Yeah it's fun. Have your parent didn't ever really leave you did they?”

“That must be nice.” Adrian responded, but the bell rung before Evelin could counter.
