The rest of the day was gone in the blink of an eye. Evelin and Adrian didn't get a chance to talk during math.
At the end of the school day, Adrian found Evelin to see if she needed a ride home. The weather was still frigged.
He found her walking out of school. “Evelin.” She turned to look at him. Do you have a ride home.”
“No, I'm going to walk.”
“Do you want one?”
“Sure.”
Adrian pulled up to her Cabin. Adrian parked the car and turned toward Evelin.
“Do you mind If I come in with you?" Adrian asked curious as to what the inside of the wooden cabin looked like. Was she clean or messy like himself?
Evelin wasn't really sure she was allowed to have boys inside her house. She was certain it was more messy then normal. "Sure." Evelin got out of the car a walked inside. She pulled of the hiking boats and laid her book bag on the wooden floor. Adrian followed behind her removing his shoes and put them next to Evelin's at the door.
The one room cabin was relatively neat. Though the bed was unmade. Everything had its place. The books stood on the shelve. Her clothes all lay folded in the drawers. Dishes were clean and away. From Evelin's bed a cat roped out. He had strips, the markings of a Siamese, and crystal blue eyes. He rubbed against Evelin's jean clad legs.
"Were you lonely, Dante?" Evelin said as she rubbed the cat affectionately.
"That's a weird name for a cat."
"It's an Italian poet."
"I know who it is, I read Dante's Inferno last year. Its still an odd name for a cat."
"It is not; Dante he's calling you odd." Evelin said to the cat lovingly the cat meows as though he understood every word she said.
Evelin walked away from the cat and back out the door without putting on shoes and then came back in with an arm full of firewood.
"Adrian could you get some more fire wood from wooden from then firewood box outside."
Evelin said to Adrian who complied. Evelin got a match and skillfully started to light the fire. "That should warm it up in here,Are you cold I can make hot chocolate or coffee."
"Coffee, would be great. Do you have cream?"
"I have creamer."
"As in the powder stuff?" Adrian said with obvious disgust.
"Yes."
"Ewe."
"Its fine if you just drink it."
"I'll get over it so I can have the coffee."
Evelin started the pot of coffee and sat down at the table, were Adrian sat, "I think you've now seen everything. Theres not much to it."
"I'm sure there is how old is it?"
" seventy six years old."
"Thats pretty old for a building out here?"
"Not really the inn's almost a hundred and there are buildings in town that are even older."
"Do you have television?"
"No."
"Internet?"
"Nope."
"How do you survive?"
"TV and WiFi aren't required to survive."
"I disagree with that statement. How on earth do you check your facebook?"
"I don't have one."
"Ark, I would commit suicide."
"Just slightly over dramatic aren't we Adrian."
"I am not," he said playfully as he walked though the kitchen
The coffee pot peeped as it dispelled its final drops. Evelin got up to prepare coffee. Adrian followed right behind her.
