The rest of the day passed quickly, Evelin had a little bit of homework as she grabbed her books. Lucilia had basketball practice for servile hours so Evelin walked home. Alba rode the bus in the afternoons but Evelin would rather walk. It felt good to move her muscles, after sitting at a school desk all day.

Evelin got home to the cabin. The cabin was cold she gathered fire wood for a fire to warm the cabin and flicked on the space heaters. Dante rubbed against Evelin's legs. The cat got lonely living out there all alone not aloud to go outside because, he would likely get eating

Evelin made herself a cup of coffee and sat at her table and did her Anatomy and Chemistry homework. The homework was fill in notes on one section. She finished it quickly. Evelin lay down on her bed and read. The room was warm now, but Evelin decided to climb under her blankets. She read for a while, but drowsiness began to undertake her. She had gotten out of the habit of waking up so early and even the Caffeine couldn't keep her body going. She fell asleep peacefully with her cat against the small of her back.

Adrian called Evelin to see if now was an okay time for tutoring. He and Alex had spent there time after school playing video games. The act of shotting at each other even if it was fictional had helped them get out most of there anger.

The phone was ringing, Evelin had no interest in answering it. But it didn't stop just kept ringing. Evelin got out of the bed. She was amazed she slept for then an hour and it was almost dark.

"Hello."

"Evelin. Are we still on for tutoring?" said the overly cheerful voice of Adrian.

"Sure." Evelin said pouring herself another cup of coffee.

"Okay, See you soon," Adrian said then hung up.  he followed by stepping into his car and starting it. Then driving to get Evelin.

Alex and Lexus were supposedly studying. But in reality they weren't getting anything done but starring at each other. They were in the library.

Audrey walked into check on her oldest children. Alex and Lexus looked up when there mom came in.

"You both know I'm going on the book tour tomorrow. I'm about to leave with your dad to go to Seattle. Were going to spend the night there and your dad will be back by tomorrow night. Behave. And make sure Adrian behaves." Audrey said, her red hair was a large red mess today.

"Yes, Mom." Alex and Lexus said in unison.

"Good, I love you. I'll be back in two weeks."

"Love you,"

Then there mom left the room. Both parents got in the car and left there kids at home.

Alex and Lexus went back to homework for a moment. But when they were certain there parents were gone, that got through out the window. It wasn't that it was hard, just that neither of them could study.

"You want to go swimming?" Lexus asked .

"Yes."

Then they left the library. Alex put on swim trunks and Lexus put on her smallest bikini.

They went into the hot tub instead of actually going swimming in the pool. They sat down next to each other.

"Sit in front of me and I'll rub your back."

Lexus moved and sat between Alex's legs.

Lexus moved and sat between Alex's legs. He kneaded her neck and upper back. She relaxed against him.

Evelin and Adrian had remained quiet through the drive. Adrian walked inside the house. There was no one sitting in the living room. They took a seat there and Adrian pulled out his math book and notes.

Evelin went through the math problem slower this time. She showed him each individual step and Adrian understood. He did the next problem and finally got the wrong answer. He then repeated the process with the rest of the problems. Evelin felt a surge of pride as she watched her student catch on.

"I get it!" Adrian said with a huge smile.

            "Good, its simple isn't it?"

"I wouldn't go that far, but I understand. Your an awesome teacher, Evelin!" Adrian said and then hugged Evelin tightly it was a friendly hug.

"Do you want to come see our horses?"

"I guess that would be fine." Evelin said reluctantly. She was slightly afraid of horses, they were too big.

Adrian grabbed her hand. They pulled on coats and Adrian grabbed golf cart keys.

"Why do you have golf carts?"

            "To go to the barn."

"Can't you just walk to the stables?"

"Yeah, but its more than a mile and I'm lazy." Evelin shook her head but stepped in the golf cart.

Not that it look much like a golf cart. It had huge all Terran tires and looked as though it was built for off road instead of driving on well trimmed golf courses. It had more umpf then your average golf cart too. It picked up speed as Adrian to the barn which was illuminated and Evelin could see it far away.

The barn had two indoor arena and more then twenty stalls. only Ten of which were filled. There were acres of pasture and trails behind it. The barn and arena were heated with are circulating through giant fans. Bellow the hay loft there was the barns office and the apartment where the two trainers lived.

Evelin had never seen a barn that big before. The barns in Willowcreek where tiny two stall sheds. But even when she thought of big barns they were nowhere close to this monster. She guessed if you had money you could build anything.

Adrian parked the golf cart in front of the barn and took her hand again leading her into the barn.

The cold from outside and the heat from the barn shocked Evelin. She shivered at the sudden heat. Adrian walked down the barn isle and stopped at a stall with a big Grey horse in it.

"This is my horse," Adrian said with pride in his voice as he open the big horses stall and brought him out. Adrian clipped him in cross ties and began to brush him.

            "Whats his name?" Evelin asked

            “Mr. Tap That.”

“please tell me thats not really his name.”

            “But it is.”

            “That pour horse,”

“Oh, you like your name don't you. Tappin.” Evelin shock her head. Adrian grabbed his bridle and inserted into Tappin's waiting mouth. Adrian put on a black helmet with a long pile. And handed Evelin handed Evelin an identical one.

“What do I need this for?” Evelin asked.

            “For getting on the horse.”

“Oh, you thought I would ride? No, I'll pass.”

"Why wouldn't you. We are at a barn."

Evelin decided not to fight with him, he could ride his horse and she would watch."

Adrian lead the horse into the Arena. It was a large open arena with dressage letters. Adrian lead Tappin to the large mounting block.

"Come on Evelin this is kind of ridiculous. Hiking to the top of mountains, sure thats no problem. But get on a horse, that is out of the question. It couldn't be because your afraid could it?" Adrian said what to say to push her, she didn't want to be thought as weak.

Evelin glared at Adrian. But got on the block and Adrian helped her slide onto the wide bareback horse. Then Adrian slide on behind her and took the reins. And the horse flew forward.
