I opened the door that lead to what I like to call hell with a lump in my throath. I haven't been here since everything that has happened and I obviously wasn't ready to come back.
Why would anyone like to go through halls where all you get are death glares and all you hear are whispers coming from the mouths of those who are supposedly called your friends.High school does not make any sense.
From the moment I walked through those glass doors, I knew what was coming.
I've been on T.V. several times and I've been spotted with Martin Garrix, so obviously I was going to get weird looks.I opened my locker with the combination I had almost forgotten and got my english books, trying to avoid any possible eye contact.
I started making my way through the many people attending my school and walked looking down at the floor.
"Mel?"
Shit.
I stopped walking and slowly turned around, annoyed.
I usually am not this anti-social, I'm just expecting the worst.
I looked up to meet a girl I knew way too well, Payton Griffin, or should I say the fakest girl you will ever meet. She is nice to everyone, so everyone likes her, but then she talks behind everyone's back and calls out her 'friends' in front of guys to make herself look better.
Physically speaking she's flawless, but personality speaking she sure isn't.
"Payton, hi," I replied, curving my mouth into something that could pass for a smile.
"So, I see you've gained popularity," she trailed off, flipping a brown curl over her shoulder.
"Um, I guess..." I trailed off as well, not sure of how to answer to such a remark.
"Garrix, uh? I didn't know you had good tastes in guys," she smiled, getting on my last nerve.
"Surprising, uh?" I replied, trying to restrain myself from rolling my eyes right in front of her.
"Well, you guys aren't a thing right?"
"I don't exactly know,"
"Anyway, I'm throwing a party this friday for my birthday, do you think you guys could come? I mean, I know we usually don't talk or whatever, but like I would really like if you guys came," she said, giving me a smile that was obviously a fake one.
I never ever got invited to a single one of her parties, this doesn't sound right.
She's known for her parties and good looks, she literally throws parties with over 70 people and she usually never even makes eye contact with me, hell, I didn't even know she knew my name.
"Yeah sure I'll ask Martin," I replied giving her a smile as fake as hers.
"Perfect, see you later doll,"
And with that the sound of her six inch heels faded into the distance.

"Open your books to page 95 for all the information you need to prepare a rough draft for your 1000 word essay for this thursday," Mrs. Smith said, walking throuh the rows of desks.
I rolled my eyes and took out my book, opening it to page 95.
A soft knock was heard on the door and Mrs. Smith walked out of class before peeking her head back in while nodding.
She was talking to someone, and we couldn't see who.
She looked inside the classroom and made eye contact me.
"Melody, could you come here for a minute?"I looked at her with a confused expression and my expression suddenly changed as Martin made an appearance in the door frame with a smirk plastered on his face.
His hands were deep in his pockets and his hair was messy. He looked like he hadn't slept in a while and for some reason that was insanely hot.
I heard gasps and whispers as I stood up to walk out of class."Oh My God, is that Martin Garrix?" was frequently heard as I made my way to the front of the class.
As I got to where he was, he pulled me into a hug and I could feel everyone's eyes on me. It was great.
The teacher got back inside the classroom and closed the door behind her.
"What's up?" I asked, placing a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Ok, so you know Ultra's coming up, right?"
"Well, it's in a little less than 3 months, but I guess you could say that," I chuckled, getting really interested in this conversation.
"Well the end of March is closer than we think,"
"Just get to the point," I giggled, impatient.
"You're playing mainstage,"
"You're kidding,"
"Am not," he smirked, nodding.
"Ultra? I'm going to cry, I'm serious. Do you even realize how amazing that is?" I asked, raising my voice excitingly.
"Shh," he chuckled, making me realize that I was indeed yelling, but who can blame me?
"I can't believe this, I just-
"I know, I know," he cut me off, making me playfully roll my eyes.
"Oh, and we're going to a party on friday,"
