"What the fuck is wrong with you? You could literally make out with any girl you want in this room and you chose Mel," Martin spat, and I could tell he was pissed.
I would've been satisfied if it wasn't Julian fucking Jordan, his best friend. I screwed up big times, I put some drama between them and it's all my fault.
"Listen, man, I didn't know it was her okay?" Julian clearly lied, trying to calm Martin down.
"Bullshit,""Martin, it wasn't his fault okay? It's all mine I-
"Save it, that was a pretty slutty move, Melody." Martin bitterly replied, making me furrow my eyebrows.
"Excuse me? You're the one who was making out with someone else when I came down the stage, are you serious right now?" I angrily replied, crossing my arms over my chest.
"But it wasn't your fucking best friend!"
"That's beside the point! So what you're saying is, it would've been okay if I had made out with a complete stranger instead of him?"
"That's not what I said,"
"Well it sure looked like it, and besides, chill out, we're not dating or anything," I mocked, taking the bitchiest tone I possibly could.I could be a bitch when people were provoking me, and right now Martin was managing to get on my every single nerve. I didn't understand his reasoning, he literally did the exact same thing an hour ago, and now he's trying to tell me that what I did was wrong? Of course it was, but I wanted to show him what it felt like.
"Wait," his expression suddenly turned into an amused one, as his mouth slightly curved into a smile, "A-Are you jealous?"
My eyes widened, as I turned my gaze to him, not sure of what to say."Jealous? Oh please," I faked a laugh and mentally slapped myself for being such a bad liar. I thought I was good at lying, but right now I can't exactly tell if he'll believe me or not.
"Give it a rest, Mel, we all know you were," he smirked, turning his gaze to Julian, and then to me.
"W-What? Why would I kiss him then?" I asked, pointing to Julian.Big mistake.
"To make me jealous, obviously," he chuckled, suddenly changing his mood.
"Confidence is a quality, but not in excess, Martin," I rolled my eyes, slightly blushing. Thank Gosh it was pretty dark in here, otherwise he would've seen the redness of my cheeks and would've figured he was right.
"You suck at lying, but nice try though," he chuckled, pulling me closer, "I'm flattered, but next time try not making out with my best friend,"
"So it worked," I smirked, looking up at him."Please," he playfully rolled his eyes.
"Right, that's why you were ready to murder your best friend," I sarcastically nodded, making him laugh.
"Okay, it sort of did, but you should've seen your face earlier, you were so pissed it was priceless,""Oh really? Who was she?" I rolled my eyes, still a little offended.
"Calm down, she was no one, actually, I don't know why I did that," he replied, as if nothing was wrong with that.
"So you just kiss strangers like that?"
"Hey, I'm a guy. I like girls, so why not?"
"Well because," I glared at him, "I like guys and I don't throw myself at them whenever I feel like it,"
He furrowed his eyebrows at me and glanced at Julian, who was now talking to other people."It's not the same thing," I blushed, looking away.
"Ts, right," he chuckled."It's just that I thought that you know..." I trailed off, regretting starting that sentence.
"You know what?" he asked, wanting to know the rest.
"You said on live television that thing, remember?"
"Oh, you watched that?" he slightly smiled, sending shivers down my spine.
"Yeah..." I trailed off, embarrassed."That's actually pretty cute, you love me so much," he grinned, making me gasp.
"Yeah! I adore you!" I replied sarcastically, even though that was 100% the truth.
"I know you do,"
"I do not,"
"You clearly do, Mel,"
"Shut up, Martin,"
"Make me,"
"No thanks," I replied, slightly grinning.
"Fine then, I'll make you shut up, you're starting to talk too much,"Before I could reply to his insult, he crashed his lips against mine and I was caught by surprise, and he noticed too, because I felt him smile through the kiss. He wrapped his arms around my waist, bringing me closer and closing off the distance between our bodies as I did the same around his neck. Our lips moved in synch and the fireworks from when we kiss came back. It sounds cheesy, but it's true. It almost made me forget that we were in a room filled with people and with extremely loud music. Drunk people were dancing around us and the speakers were blasting amazing tracks. The kiss was deepening by the second, and every movement I made was not enough, it made me want more.
He pulled away and before I could complain, he moved to my neck, leaving soft kisses down my jawline and on my neck. The song changed and as soon as I heard the first few notes I pulled away from Martin and smiled at him.
"It's our song," I screamed over the music, and it took him a moment to realize what I was talking about, before his smile grew wider. He didn't reply, he simply pulled me into a hug, a really tight hug, after kissing my forehead.
He was so comfortable, I could stay in his arms for a while.

I smiled to myself, opening the door that lead outside. I was having a blast, I just needed a break to call my sister to tell her everything was okay and to tell her not to wait for me.
I unlocked my phone and looked at the white digits indicating 3:23. Well, my sister was probably sleeping, but I'll call just in case.
Before I could click on the call button, something appeared on the screen of my phone.Someone was calling me, and it was a blocked I.D.
I suspiciously looked around, not sure of who would call so late at night. I came to the conclusion that it was probably my sister calling from the hotel room's phone or something, considering her I.D. isn't blocked.
I answered, and waited a few seconds before speaking.
"Hello?"
I waited a few seconds once again for an answer, but nothing came. Before I could hang up, a piercing sound came through the phone, it was so loud and high pitched it hurt. I pulled the phone away from my ear, wincing, and quickly hung up.
The reception must be mediocre up here.
My phone rang again, and I rolled my eyes, pressing on the answer button. It was still a blocked I.D., but whoever this unknown caller was really wanted to talk to me, so I'm going to answer.
"Hello?" I said again, bringing the phone to my ear cautiously.
As soon as the sound came back, I dropped my phone to the ground, suddenly fearing answering phone calls. I quickly hung up, picking it up from the ground and turned it off, I don't think I can make calls up here without the piercing sound.
I looked around suspiciously, feeling oddly lonely and got back inside.
