Y'all know that I'm writing a book. So my struggle is that I'm trying to make it original. It's like every detail I add is similar to Gifts from the Princess Who Brought Sleep. And that is the last thing I need right now.
It sucks. I mean, the way it plays out is different enough, but I can't stop comparing the two. I know I shouldn't do that, but I am. Gah! It sucks!
It is my own idea that I would have forced whether I found Gifts or not.
