"This will be so funny," the man said with a grin as he snapped his fingers. Then, with zero grace whatsoever, he passed out.

One single person hit the ground screaming. With a groan, he rolled over and looked around. He was in a fancy house.
The walls were white; the couch was also white with some embroidered pillows. Eight stuffed animals stared at him, seeming almost like a watchful council. A purple ram, a red wolf, a yellow bunny, an orange dog, a teal deer, a pink fox, a blue owl, and a green cat.
He shivered as the ram seemed to look him in the eyes. "This is....surprising."
And then, a woman fell from the ceiling. Unlike the man, she didn't scream. Though, she did gasp when she hit the couch. The animals were sent flying in all directions.
The ram hit the man in the head.
"Aaaaahhhhhhhhh......" the woman groaned. He went over to see if she was okay. She wore a red dress and a black veil over her face.
"Umm, hello? Can you hear me?" he asked. Another groan.
"Yes." She sat up and pushed the veil off from her face. "I'm Banica Conchita." So, that was her name.
"Sateriasis Venomania," he said, holding out his hand. Well, this woman was quite pretty. She reminded him of Maylis.
Instantly, the woman tensed up. "I know you. I'm related to you." Her tone showed her disinterest.
Oof.
That killed any interest that may have begun to form. Venomania held up a hand. "Let me guess, Maylis Beelzenia. You look exactly like her."
Banica was shocked. "Why, I...yes. I guess it makes sense that you know. You were the father, after all."
A stab of unexplainable sadness pierced him. Venomania wasn't sure why he felt that way, so he ignored it. "Now, I wonder if anyone else will fall from the sky."
On cue, two kids—a boy and a girl—tumbled down. The boy landed on the couch, an audible thud as he hit it. As for the girl, she landed next to the couch. She reached up to rub her head. "Ow," she muttered, one eye closed.
The boy slipped off the couch and helped her up. "There you go, Princess," he said. They didn't seem to notice the adults in the room.
Something in Banica formed right then and there. An overwhelming urge to protect these kids from anything. She opened her mouth to speak, but no words came.
Still holding the boy's hand, the girl curtsied. "I am Princess Riliane Lucifen d'Autriche. I am curious as to what your names are." Then she smiled sweetly.
"Banica Conchita," the woman said, curtsying.
The boy bowed. "Allen Avadonia. I am Riliane's servant." At those words, the girl wrapped him in a playful hug. Once she released him from her grip, she reached over and picked the bunny and held it close. The small animal had a black ribbon around its neck. Allen selected the dog for himself.
Even Banica chose an animal, the red wolf. Venomania picked up the ram and observed it.
"Umm," the princess began, "there is a mist in the room."
And sure enough, there was. A pale teal mist wafting around the enclosed space, filling their lungs.
Banica choked as she burst into a fit of coughing. Venomania pulled his shirt over his nose. Allen kept one hand on a previously-hidden knife. Riliane stared around the room, defiance and anger in her eyes.
