From: RimaRoseWrites: what sub genre of horror scares them the most?

Nemesis: I'm gonna go first. Elderitch horror scares me the most. And "someone's watching you" stuff, too.

Allen: I thought it was called Eldritch horror.

Sati: It's not called Elderitch?

Allen: I don't think so.

Nemesis: ......

Nemesis: Sh**. I gotta go apologize to Gammon now.

Margarita: Saw, stuff where the characters are getting chased, human horror, slasher, cycles, stuff like that.

Riliane: What's human horror?

Banica: Are we not going to acknowledge that Saw is it's own sub genre in Margarita's eyes?

Margarita: Human horror is where there's no monsters, nothing supernatural, just humans. Ready or Not, and things like that.

*faint screams of annoyance from control booth*

Nemesis: I also hate sudden gore.

Allen: You've killed people.

Nemesis: I shot them. They died via bullet wound to some major part of the body.

Allen: I'm not gonna argue with you. I lose brain cells when I do.

Riliane: Gore and body horror. At some point, it's no longer human.

Allen: You would hate the book I found for Nemesis.

Nemesis: To be fair, I did hate that book, too. I felt like I was gonna be sick.

Kayo: Umm.....body horror and Eldritch horror. The idea that there's something out there, in the water, something that's bigger than all of us, that's just waiting....

Kayo: The idea that it will one day wake up, and it will be too late to stop it. The idea that it doesn't matter when it wakes up, it'll be too late....Yeah, that scares me.

Nemesis: If I wasn't already scared of that, I would be.

Sati: I think we're all scared of that stuff now.

Banica: I dunno if y'all have ever seen Hereditary, but it wasn't scary.

Riliane: People got decapitated. Explain how it wasn't scary.

Banica: It just wasn't scary. It was boring. I'd watch it again.

Gallerian: You are not human.

Banica: I know. I ate a demon.

Banica: Animal horror. Where everything is fine, and then the animals go crazy. I once saw a movie where a groups of teens were staying at a farm, and the animals became possessed. The sight of the pigs walking upright will haunt me 'til I die or get amnesia.

Gallerian: Mundane horror scares me. I can't think of examples, but the idea that you can do something, anything normal, and it's just ever so slightly off is terrifying. And a lot of video games scare me.

Allen: Amnesia. I read that My Little Amnesia fic, and it actually scared me. And guillotines are a whole thing of horror for me.

Sati: I just really hate gore.
