At Least...

Zach, Gray, and I walked through the cave as I felt chills down my spine we were met with a snowy, wintery nightmare. I jumped back my bare feet meeting the icy snow. Zach and Gray looked at me, Zach picking me up as we went into the harsh winter. Gray kept his head down snow harshly hitting us in the face.

"This is definitely not Costa Rica!" I heard Zach shout as Gray and I nodded. We kept walking as Zach put me down struggling to carry me. I shifted my feet in the snow as we all kept walking, I tried to keep up but my feet felt like they were icicles.

We kept walking till I heard a loud echoing crunch. We turned looking at each other then looking ahead at the light cyan coloured ice that spread around us.

We stood still as I heared more loud echoing coming from underneath us. Gray yelped as the ice broke underneath him. I quickly tried to grab him falling in myself as I struggled to see the ice cold water feeling as if I was swimming in glue I grabbed what I assumed was Gray's hand and my foot was grabbed as we were pulled out, We were shaking like crazy as we moved off the ice sitting in the cold snow. Our teeth chattered and we hugged ourselves trying to warm up.

I felt tears run down my face but stop on my cheeks as they froze solid. "A-At least there are no dinosaurs.." I said with a shaky smile. Gray nodded as Zach looked around.

"There has to be a snow plow or something nearby, I'll be right back!" Zach shouted as he ran off. I heard Gray hyperventilating as I looked around, I didn't remember Zach leaving and I could hardly see Gray, I laid down in the snow shaking as I felt my eyes get heavy, I kept shaking as everything when black.

I woke up feeling warm and a puffy coat being put on me. I looked around as Zach was wrapped in a winter jacket and so was Gray, we were inside what appeared to be a snow plow of sorts. I looked at my hands as my finger tips were dark blue.

"I found something besides this" Zach said, I moved my frozen stiff hands into my pockets moving up to a chair beside him looking forward. We stopped in the middle of nowhere as we stepped out. I stood beside Zach as he pressed his hands on what seemed like an invisible wall. A door opened, Zach grabbing his brother. I walked through the door and looked around. It was gray and boring like a hospital, The Mitchell's walked in. We looked around as we heard metallic stomping. We stood against the wall hearing a man's voice.

"Brad, Take this sample to the lab, I want these examined closely." The voice said as the stomping went another way then went quiet. We stood still as the man we heard earlier walked around the corner looking up from an iPad at us. He looked shocked as we backed away in fear.

"You three are trespassing-"

I felt my hands slip from my pockets as he stared at them.

"Frost bite." He stated walking close and grabbing my hands, He took Gray and Zach's hands, looking at our blue hands. He pulled us behind him back into the winter biome. He got us back in the snow plow. We sat there quite as he drove also silent. "The names Almond, Dr. Almond. Mind telling me who you three are?"

"I'm Y/n Kon.." I said, Gray laid his head on my shoulder looking at Dr. Almond.

"I'm Gray and he's my big brother Zach" Gray slurred quietly.

"Y/n, Your father. He's the billionaire, Daniel Kon correct?" He asked.

"He is." I said as he nodded. We stopped as he helped us out. We walked into a snow cave.
