Epilogue
Xanders' POV - Three years later
"An hour!" Zac pleaded, following me through the castle as I rolled my eyes.
"No!" I exclaimed for the fourth time in the last minute, fed up with his antics.
"Fine, half an hour! Just show me your ways!" He continued pleading.
Stopping suddenly, Zac went flying into my back, a groan leaving him. Glancing back, I noticed he was rubbing his nose sadly with a pout on his face.
"Fine." I finally answered watching his puppy dog eyes widen in delight.
"Thank you!" Zac squealed, running off god knows where.
I can't believe I just agreed to mentor that idiot for his throne. Last week, Zac's father decided it was time he step down as king leaving the responsibility up to Zac who was more than willing to finally take his place as king. However, the nerves were getting to him and with him flying back in just under five days, he's been begging for guidance from me.
As for me, I became one of the most world renowned kings there was. Despite my lack of mate, I ran one of the strongest kingdoms to date, surpassing even my fathers legacy. It felt good but the elders still tutted every time I showed up to a meeting in jeans and a t-shirt.
Some things never change.
Mother was so proud of me, constantly letting me know how much I was like my father. Thankfully, it was no longer painful for her to mention him. Once she finally moved on, Ray won her over and the two have been happily together since, although I'm still bitter because I miss having Ray around the castle.
Call me selfish.
"Xander!" The voice I knew all too well called through the house.
I smiled, heading towards to entrance where Ricky and Bella stood, admiring the castle. Bella was still in awe every time she stepped foot in here. Hence when Ricky finally popped the question last year I agreed for the wedding to be held here. The wedding was due to occur next month and Bella had asked me to be her "man of honour" as well as asking me to walk her down the aisle.
I had accepted both, tears in my eyes when she asked but I wholeheartedly regretted my decision when she had a stripper at her hen night. It wasn't till after I found out she paid him extra to pay extra attention to me. That mixed with drinking cocktails our penis straws, I've never felt more embarrassed in all my life.
"what's up, dork." I joked from the top of the stairs before making my way down them to greet them both properly.
"Uncle Xan!" A little voice rang though the room.
"Hey Xaiv!" I chuckled, scooping the little guy up and tickling him.
Xavier. Thats what Bella and Ricky called him. I cried then too when I held him. Even more when Bella declared me godfather.
"I wanna play with Macy!" He told me, a blush forming on his cheeks.
"Oh does someone have a crush?" I asked him, raising my eyebrows at the little boy in my arms.
"No! Girl's are yuck!" He replied, making a fake sick face despite his now red tinged ears from blushing.
"Ok if you say so, she's probably in the kitchen with her mama." I said, pointing the way even though he already know.
Immediately running off, Bella's calls to be careful fell on deaf ears as Xavier disappeared behind the door. Macy was the cooks daughter, only a year older than Xavier so when he was over he enjoyed the company.
