Chapter 38

Xanders POV

Over the next few weeks, everything was great. Aries and I came to the agreement once our meeting had been over to see each other every weekend, which we stuck to. Through the week, we would pour our hearts and souls into our responsibilities so by the time the weekend came, everything was complete.

As for Dante and Zac, well, its been a whirlwind. Zac had to go back to his father to discuss his throne and in the process found out about Dante. To say he wasn't pleased would be an understatement but Zac didn't bother. He decided to live out here with Dante until he had to take over his throne. Dante was coping well, only awkward in the beginning but now he seems easy going and treats Zac amazingly.

Ricky and Bella were as love sick as the day I saw Bella in the hospital. Bella and the baby were doing amazing with Bella being discharged two weeks ago. However, Ricky had her on bed rest which she was least pleased about. I got phone calls almost every day of her ranting and raving over how ridiculous his bed rest plan was considering her bump was only just appearing.

Mother eventually decided the castle was too much for her, explaining to me that every room in the place reminded her of my father. After much consideration, she decided to move up north like she always planned to. She had a cabin which was extremely cozy and she would come to visit once a month, Ray's favourite time I came to realise.

Ray was keeping to his job, happy as Larry and has began trying to woo my mother when she visited. I wasn't sure it was working for him to begin with until I saw a deep blush overtake her features when he spoke to her last time she was here, so he has been all the more determined.

Overall, I was happy. My friends were happy. Aries was happy. What more could I ask for?

Too much apparently.

I was currently in grey nike joggers and a white t-shirt, chucking the small ball I found in a cupboard up and down to distract me. The roof met my gaze every time I caught the ball, my fluffy sheets lying flush against my back.

Then, the knock rang through the room.

"Yeah?" I asked nonchalantly, continuing my mini game.

"It's me."

"Bella?" I asked, absolutely baffled as I got up and swung the door open.

Low and behold, the now clearly pregnant woman stood before me, a scowl on her face.

"Woah, who thought it was a good idea to piss off the pregnant lady?" I joked, trying to lighten the mood.

"Your mate!" She huffed out, brushing past me and heading to sit on my bed.

Confused, I sat on my bed also, cross legged facing Bella who had he back resting against the headboard.

"What has the idiot done now." I groaned out.

"Look, I'm really pissed off and I need you to let me finish everything first before you jump in because if I'm mad, you're going to bring hellfire on earth." She started.

"Okay?" I agreed, suddenly anxious.

"Aries has had Molly staying in his house for two weeks,"

"What the fu,"

"Let me finish! Only Aries, Ricky and Dante know. I found out this morning when I heard Ricky arguing on the phone. He thought I was asleep. So, I heard him on the phone to Aries telling him he needs to tell you about her. I could hear Aries tell him no because things were going well and how did it look to you if he told you. He kept saying it was a temporary thing and he couldn't leave her and her baby alone in the cold for rogues. Here is the kicker that really pissed me off though cause so far its nice guy Aries who was a bit of a dick for not telling you but he's doing a nice thing. Ok, no a big dick, but he's been raising her daughter and acting like happy families! Buying even Molly things as if she were his mate!"
