OuMaki are besties.

-They have play fights where it looks like they're killing each other but they're not.

-They're scary whenever you get both of them mad so dont...ever.

-Kokichi wanted to bake a cake for Himiko so he asked Maki to assist him.

-When she asked why he didn't ask Kirumi, he came up with a lie saying she was busy.

-They would push each other into pools.

-Non chalantly help each other.

-Like without asking they know when they're needed.

-Maki needs a distraction?

-Kokichi bursts into the room wearing nothing but his McDonald boxers "IM A DISTRACTION IM A DISTRACTION!"

-They make silent bets with each other.

-Maki: Did you...go to the store today?

-Kaede: No?

-Maki: Damn I owe Kokichi 20 dollars.

-Their bets sometimes don't make sense.

-Miu could trip on a stair, roll down it, and land in front of them and they'll be like...

-Maki: I won, Miu rolled down the stairs, 20 bucks.

-Kokichi: *sigh* you win this one.

-Maki's fox, Nigiri, hates Kokichi.

-With a passion.

-For no reason, he doesn't prank animals, that would be too cruel even for him.

-Like I've said, Maki calls him a sadist.

-They would blame each other in those murder games even if both of them weren't murders.

-They're part of the scary smile when upset squad.

-They're both real good at torture.

-Like Hella good that this should be a problem.

-If someone needs answers...they'll be the go-to.

-That got dark so let's change the subject.

-Maki would give Kokichi a cookie if he was acting more decent then normal.

-Would help each other with homework.

-Kokichi would give information about Kaito to Maki even though she did not ask.

-Would so play tetris versus together.

-And be pissed off at each other of the other one won.

-Kokichi keeps reminding her that he is in fact older than her on the daily.

-But how did this friendship start?

-So in my headcanon of Hope's Peak, they sometimes give assignment like field trips that indulge in their talents to the students.

-Like why is (insert character) missing?

-Oh they had a talent field trip.

-And they thought it would be a great idea to send Kokichi and Maki on one of those.

-At the time they weren't the best of friends or well friends at all.

-But when they came back they were friendlier with each other.

-Nobody knows what happened but something Must've happened for them to become friends.
