I just imagine instead of Maki being scared of the ghosts (Kokichi and Kaito) in her house, she'll just be fed up with their bullshit.
Like she could care less about the demons having her knives float in in ar SHE GOT BILLS TO PAY.
Imagine she has sleep paralysis and Kokichi is her sleep paralysis demon and she's like.
Maki: God damnit Chad I got work in the morning, go to sleep for once in your life I know for sure you can't do an all nighter.
And that morning she got a note on her side table saying "My names Kokichi".
Maki: I don't care what your name is, fuck you Chad.
Like she wasn't surprised she got a random note out of no where.
And then Kaito tries to do stuff but is honestly more scared that Maki is just not impressed or trying to move out. Like their ghosts and you don't care???
