"So... You gonna tell me what all that was about... Jungkook?"
I tensed as the boy had the audacity to speak to me and use my name so confidently and comfortable.
"Fuck off."
Yeah.. that's what I came up with after staring out the window all class long.
Fuck off.
Nothing else.
Not even when I asked myself: What would Chanyeol do?
"You're not very friendly."
I turn to Jimin with an annoyed expression.
I only wanted the next class to start.
I was well aware of the three boys watching the exchange, their eyes filling me with the need to do... something.
"Then leave me the fuck alone. You're annoying, and quite frankly, I want nothing to do with you."
Jimin only gave me one of those smiles.
"Yeah, got that. So... how old are you? Do I have to call you Hyung?"
My mouth, once more, dropped wide open.
Was he fucking stupid?
A moron perhaps?
Definitely dim witted for not reading the room.
The tenseness in everyone as they watched our exchange.
Slowly I stood, making sure the chair made a loud screeching noise before I took the two steps to tower in front of him, then leaned down with both my hands smacking against his desk.
Suho had taught me so.
To intimidate with my eyes, my posture- to invade someone's personal space and make them cower in fear.
Only that Jimin didn't.
Didn't so much as flinch, meeting my eyes with a calmness that unsettled me.
As if he could see right through my pretence, a slow burning smirk plastered on his lips, like he could see right through me and found it adorable how I was trying to play big bad boy.
"You really don't get it, do you, newbie? Are you so desperate to start trouble? Cause I got no problem giving that to you if you keep annoying me."
"Trouble? No. I'm not looking for trouble. I just asked for your age, that's all."
"And I told you to leave me alone."
"Got that. I just thought that you looked like someone who needed a friend."
I flinched away from him like he had burned me.
A friend...
"I have friends," I snarled into his face, anger making my skin feel tight and an uncontrolled shaking had started in my arms.
Who did this kid think he is?
Did I look like I needed friends?
I had X-EXO!
They were more than friends.
They were my family!
I belonged to them.
Had worked so hard to finally have a place somewhere.
And he-
"Yeah. We're his friends. Sorry pretty boy, but hands off if you really don't want trouble."
Only now did I realized Sehun had come up behind me, an arm landing around my shoulders as the boy smirked down at Jimin.
"You mess with him, you mess with us."
"Us?" Jimin asked in confusion, looking over my right shoulder to see Kai and D.O. towering just behind me.
Kai clicked his tongue in annoyance, his voice however calm and composed.
"You may wanna have asked around newbie. Mess with X-EXO, and you're done for. You really don't wanna get on our bad side."
But then his features changed, his eyes flickering alight as a thought captured them.
He took a step around the desk to stand just behind Jimin, and for the first time I could see something like caution in the boy.
But yet again, he did not flinch, even as Kai leaned down, both hands coming around Jimin, trapping him from behind before Kai brought his lips close to the boys ears and I could only hear the whispered words because I stood so close.
"He's ours, Jimin. But if you're looking to play... hmm," He sniffed at his hair soundly and finally, Jimin flinched ever so slightly.
"I don't have preferences when it comes to having a good time. Although if you keep bothering our maknae, I can assure you, it won't be that much fun for you. I am known to get a bit... carried away."Jimin cleared his throat and I could clearly see the tenseness in the lines of his body and yet his voice sounded almost bored, totally unafraid.
"Like I said, I'm not looking for trouble. I was just making conversation. But obviously, you guys are an exclusive group. No need to get so offended by me trying to make idle conversation."
Kai grinned and pushed away, clapping his hands like it was all cleared up.
"Glad to make you understand."
D.O, moving silently as he always did suddenly appeared in front of Jimin's desk, looking down at him.
He didn't say anything.
He only nodded with his chin.
To the wall.
An order as clear as day.
