A fluffy chapter... wohooo.
Come on.
Admit it.
We like em hard AND soft, right?_____________________________
I woke to a soft, even sound accompanied by the gentle rise and fall of something warm close to me.
Slowly, I blinked open my eyes, the sun already lighting up the inside of my trailer.
I was in my bed.
But it wasn't the place that made my breathing get stuck in my throat but the person sleeping beside me.
I lay on my back while Jimin lay half on top of me, his naked leg thrown over my thighs, one arm resting on my chest while his head was nestled into my shoulder.
As though I was the most comfortable pillow to sleep on.I turned my head to watch his face.
He looked so peaceful, his eyes closed, squishy cheeks and breathing evenly through parted, puffy lips.
The world just stopped for a minute, holding it's breath with me as I let last night review in my head.
All the emotions, confessions, the pain mixed with utter happiness and relieve.Jimin... he was finally mine.
After all this time, all that stood between our happiness had been my own fear.
It made me hate myself a little more, but that emotion was simmered down by the fact that he slept next to me now.He looked even younger in sleep, innocent and soft.
It awoke this strong urge in me to protect him.
To hold him close and never let him go.
To shelter him from all the pain and cruelty of this world, keeping him here in my bed where we were safe.
Just the two of us.It was nothing I could stop as I reached out to let my fingers trace his features, mapping his face, wanting to save the memory to my subconscious so he would always be a part of me.
His eyelids moved as though he was aware of my touch and I felt the sudden, overwhelming urge to see his eyes.
To have him look at me.And so I let another phantasy of mine come to life, leaning in close to place a gentle, feather light kiss onto his lips, caressing his cheeks while doing so.
Waking him up with sweet, leisurely kisses.A little, soft sound announced Jimin's rise from the land of dreams, his hand, as though led by instinct, came to my face, fingers playing with my hair at my temple.
I leaned back a little and watched as he woke up.
But before opening his eyes, before even seeing me, he smiled, so soft and happy it robbed me of my breath again before his eyes found mine.My heart stopped, stuck in a moment of eternity as we looked at each other and reality finally, finally seemed...real.
"Morning," he whispered in a sleepy voice.
"Morning," I whispered back.
Jimin reached out gently, tugging back some loose strands from my face while he smiled a little brighter, a little happier.
So beautiful it was almost painful.
Jimin is pain.
Yes.
But in the best possible way."I could get used waking up like this."
I smiled too and traced the shape of his lips while I pulled him a little closer to my side.
"Yeah, me too."
We just stayed like this for a few moments, gazing at each other, holding on tight as we lost ourselves in this moment.
