It's about to get a little twisted...
"I don't understand."
"Don't understand what?" I asked the moment Namjoon and I joined the others in the Black Swan.
Yoongi, who had sounded like he was talking more to himself, turned to us with a confused and shocked expression.
His eyes landed on Namjoon first and I saw his shoulders visibly relax when he found our leader back to his composed self.
Even though, as I suspected, it was mostly just a front.Jin, who sat right next to Yoongi, turned as well.
"We found her."
My breathing hitched, hope rising.
"And?"
Both of them made a face that expressed both confusion and worry until Yoongi carefully announced:
"She's back in Seoul."My chin hit the floor.
This was unexpected.
How could this be?I fished out the phone from my pocked and immediately dialled Jimin's number.
He picked up on the second beep and I hastily told him to get everyone down here immediately. It didn't take more than a minute before Hoseok, Jimin and Tae joined us, all of us waiting for an explanation.
Yoongi called up a surveillance video feet onto his screen and we gaped as we saw her.It hit us.
There she was.
Lian.
After so fucking long.
A real sign of life from her.Tae gasped, his hand coming up to his heart like it hurt the most there, his eyes glued to the girl making her way through a crowded, busy area.
"Where is that?"
Namjoon asked, eyes on the girl we missed so much as well. And I saw it.
The guilt.My heart sank.
No, this problem wouldn't go away that easily.
The decision he made would haunt him."It's Incheon airport about two hours ago," Yoongi explained.
"She bought the ticked under a false name and paid in cash.
She must have even gotten a fake passport.
And she was cautious.
More than cautious.
I traced her line back as far as I could but it was almost impossible.
I have no idea how she did it, but there is almost no way to trace her movements.
The only thing I know is that she entered a taxi.
That's where the traces end."We gaped some more.
"Why? Why would she come back?" Jin asked, shortly followed by Jimin's:
"And where is Park Seo-Joon? How did she get away from him?"
Yoongi nodded, then turned in his chair and called up another screen, showing a map with a beeping red spot somewhere in the middle of fucking nowhere, only trees and farmland as far as we could see.
"His phone is turned off right now, but the last place I could trace it back to was in the middle of the countryside in East-England, about two hours from Lian's boarding school.
There is nothing there but an abandoned, old farmhouse."We were silent until Namjoon spoke up, eyes dark as he rubbed his cheeks, a stubbled forming there, like he had forgotten to shave recently.
"Was that the place his phone was turned off?"
Yoongi turned and nodded.
Namjoon's eyes darkened while he grew silent, his eyes far away for a second.
"Namjoon?"
He looked up and met my eyes.
It was barely visible, but he nodded my way.
And then he did as I said.
He let us in on what he was thinking.
