"What's all this about?" I wondered aloud as Jimin and I descended the stairs down to the black Swan.

Jimin only shrugged his shoulders.
He knew as much as me.

It was early in the morning, barely past eight when we got the call down here.

I tried to hide the fact that my body was sore and aching from last night.
We were the last to arrive, all the others already spread out in the centre of the room, sitting on the arrange of pillows and carpets while Namjoon was the only one standing.

"Morning sunshines," he called out, but his voice sounded strained.

"What's going on? Why did you call in a meeting this early?"

Namjoon sighed while Jimin and I took a seat.
But to our surprise, our leader sat down too, only for another to rise.

We looked up at Lian.

"He didn't. I called in the meeting."

Even Tae seemed surprised.
So he had as little an idea what Lian was planning.

"Why? What's going on baby?"

But the girl only stood there, saying nothing- avoiding his eyes, so Tae glanced to Namjoon in question.
But the boy only shrugged his shoulders too.

"Beats me. She literally came flying at me as I did my morning rounds and told me to gather everyone here," Namjoon announced.

We all turned to Lian again.
Her features were complicated, layered and hard to read.
There was a bit of nervousness in the twitch of her fingers, determination in the furrow of her brows and calculation in her dark eyes and more she was hiding too well.

She took a deep, steadying breath and then, nodded to herself once, lifting her head and finally started explaining.

"I think we have to change our plan."

"How so?" Namjoon asked, taking the lead in questioning.

"Right now, we're waiting for an opportunity to meet Suho. For him to come out of hiding so we can set our plan into motion."

We all nodded. Yes.
For us to go through the next step in our plan, Suho had to come back onto the playing field.

Over the last weeks, we had barely heard anything.
And even on the night of the party where we sought out the other gangs, we had gained little intel.
X-EXO had literally barricaded themselves in the docs.

We only knew Kai was back on his feet, his head injury healed.
Xiumin was well again too, as were Baekhyun and Chanyeol. D.O. was never seriously harmed and Sehun hadn't been administered to hospital either.

Bad news was that Lay was back after all, despite the strong claims he wouldn't be returning.
Yoongi had tracked him on a flight back to Seoul last week.

The only good news: Chen was gone.
Where to- no one knew.
Only that when he left the hospital, it wasn't the docks he had gone to.

It was as though he had disappeared into thin air, and not even master hacker Suga was able to find out where he was now.
But he did get his hands on the medical records.

I had seen and been a part of my fair share of gruesome beatings, but I had seldom seen such scans or heard of such a broken body.
There was no way Chen would ever walk again or be able to swing a single punch after his bones had broken and shattered in so many places, there weren't enough nails to hold them together.

I glanced at Tae.

When he had seen those scans, he had been incredibly pale and then- he had excused himself to the bathroom, shouting at us to give him a moment.
But we had all heard the retching sounds he made.
