I squinted my eyes and worked with precision, the air cold before I heard the little clicking sound and smiled.
"Can I ask what you are doing?"
I turned to the frowning Jimin at my side. He wore one of his massive coats that just made him look ridiculously adorable, yet his hips were slandered, hands crossed in a sassy stance. I grinned.
"It's called picking a lock, Angel."
"I know what you are doing, I mean what are we doing here of all places?"
I stood and kept up my grin as I pushed down the handle and the door opened with a little creak.
"Why? Come on, ChimChim. You can't tell me this place doesn't awaken memories."
Jimin glanced at the building with raised eyebrows.
"Mostly boredom if you ask me."
I huffed a breath and then simply grabbed his wrist and pulled him through the door after me.
"You're not the least bit romantic are you?"
"You make up for that, mister romantic prince," Jimin fired back with a chuckle.
"I think I'll enjoy you calling me prince."
"I bet you do."
I continued leading him through the dark halls. It was way past midnight, the moonlight filtering in through the high glass windows and it was eerily silence.
"It's creepier than I remember." Jimin murmured and I had to agree, even as I lead him with assured steps into a specific direction.
Memories awakened as I recalled walking those steps during daytime. Most were shit memories. But some... some were worth coming back here for.
